I went through a similar phase when my mother had cancer and then again when my sister had cancer.

Everyone deals with it differently but I found if I could find even just ONE thing a day that was positive and could make me smile, I’d hold onto it as tight as I could and did my best to focus on it.

It’s not easy watching someone you love fight a battle with cancer, but try and find distractions for you and her. When my mom was in the hospital after her surgery I filled my iPod with her favourite music and it brought her so much joy.

Find something you and your mom can enjoy together, or something fun to distract yourself when you get really low. I bounce between different games on my phone when I just need to zone out and stop stressing.

If you ever need to vent my inbox is always open. I’ve been down the road your on a few times and it’s not easy but you’re not alone.
