I was wondering if anyone had looked into what the optimum intelligence/AP is. I understand it all depends on scrolls and tactics but I am on 320 AP and can deal with most challengers fine. I was hoping to get to 10k to cover off para/future para. Thoughts?

Scroll sets are currently glitched to a maximum of 50 before they implode. 39440 intel will let you equip 49 voids and a god scroll. That’s your optimum.

Scrolls are used to cover the gaps in your armory, they are supplementary to weapons. Optimum depends on your weapons, strategy and budget. 300 AP has been enough so far to get more than 10 wins on all challengers, 40+ wins on almost all challengers, 15 wins on para rb and 47 wins on para bb. Most would say that's already more than enough. Personally, the only improvements I could see is decreasing the number of losses to obtain all those wins. Depending on the scrolls I use, 375 - 400 AP should make things a little easier.

That being said, my optimum was probably 300 AP, everything else is just extra.

I find it oddly amusing that you could have more usable intel than the current stat cap (39440 vs 35k).

For practical use, it's advisable to have at least 100AP for 5 freezing scrolls and a multiuse scroll when countering General Error's five psycho smasher scrolls during battle quests. If you have an Intricate Energized helmet (which is a once per battler freeze with a 2 turn antifreeze blessing), the min advisable goal drops to around at least 80AP.
