The organization of this forum (Problems & Bugs) doesn't make much sense to me, so I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before or if I'm even posting in the right section. But I didn't see anything, so hopefully this is not a duplicate. :)

When I adopt a pet from the pound, they usually go in order of my pets as the last pet. But sometimes they come in as the penultimate pet for no reason whatsoever. Often this happens with pets adopted on the same day - the first pet will come in last, but the next pet will come in before them.

I don't usually create multiple pets on the same day, but on the rare times I have, I have seen this happen then too inconsistently (sometimes before a pet already in line, sometimes after).

Example: today I created Hence and then several hours later I adopted Parole from the Pound. When I went to look at them, Parole was before Hence.

Sometimes using "Change Order" automatically fixes this - and sometimes it does not. For example, when I went to change the order today, Parole was still shown in front of Hence, and I had to physically move them. But at other times, just clicking the "Change Order" button and letting it load will automatically reorganize them.

It is a minor annoyance, but it is a regular annoyance.

[Edit]I discovered today that this happens with pets adopted from other users as well. Today (7/10/19) I created Jillion early in the morning, and then several hours later I adopted Itsuka from another user, and Itsuka appeared in front of Jillion instead of after.

I noticed this when adopting pets in the past as well. It seems more likely to happen when the adopted pet has an ID lower than 5m.

Does this fix mean that they sort themselves out when you visit the Your Pets page? I want to make sure I'm keeping an eye out for the right thing.

I don't have any pets to adopt and/or create at the moment, but I'm sure I will soon. :)

No, sorry - I mean the order they show up on the Your Pets page should be correct now (I hope), only on that page. It should be retroactive if you still have the other pets you adopted and haven't fixed it yourself yet? Otherwise, no problem and no rush, just give me a ping when you know :)

Okay, so yesterday, I created Melisma. Today, I adopted Despite from the Pound and then created Nary, in that order. They showed up in Training like this:

But when I went to the Your Pets page, they seem to be in the correct order (of acquisition), without me changing anything: Melisma, Despite, Nary. They still show out of order (Nary, Melisma, Despite) on the training page and in item selection lists.

So it seems like your fix worked for the Your Pets page.

Since my last post, I have adopted Hevelun from the Pound and Dots from another user, and this seems to have affected the order of the other pets adopted/created since my last Change Order.

This is the order they should be in based on acquisition sequence:

1. Melisma 2. Despite 3. Nary 4. Hevelun 5. Dots

This is how they were last night: 3. Nary 1. Melisma 2. Despite

This is the order they are in currently:

1. Melisma 3. Nary 5. Dots 4. Hevelun 2. Despite

I don't know if that helps you any, or if it might be a result of your tinkering, but thought I'd share just in case. :)

And this is the order you notice on the Your Pets page, or everywhere else?

I'm afraid it doesn't look fixed on my end - if anything, it's gotten worse. Both training and item lists have an out of order jumble. The drop-down list from the menu at the top of the page also has an out of order jumble, but oddly enough it's a different order than elsewhere. The Your Pets page still has it in the right order, however.

[Edit] I was just looking at the item options order for the dandybunny that flittted into my inventory, and I noticed that the pet order for "Give to" is different than the pet order for "Put into Treasure" as you can see below. Listening is the last pet listed where it's actually supposed to be.

I rearranged the pets listed above last night, so I can no longer use them as reference. However, I did adopt three more pets from the pound today.

On the Your Pets page, on Profile (if you are using the Pets section), at the Resort, at the Rift, on the Leash page, and on the Name Exchange page, they are showing in this order:

1. Dark One 2. Oddest 3. Whirl Wind

On the menu dropdown and on the Jobs page: 2. Oddest 1. Dark One 3. Whirl Wind

On the training page, and for the "Use" option in Item Option lists: 3. Whirl Wind 1. Dark One 2. Oddest

In Item Option list for "Put in Treasure" and at the Battle Colliseum: 2. Oddest 3. Whirl Wind 1. Dark One Also on the Transfer Slots page and the Pet Spotlight page, but at the beginning instead of the end of the list.

Since there's only three of them and therefore only six different combinations they can be in, I'm kind of amused that I can find at least 4 of the 6. XD

[Edit]I went searching to see if I could find more options:

On Iltallo's page: 2. Oddest 1. Dark One Whirl Wind doesn't show up since they do not qualify to be galacticized. Also, Oddest and Dark One show up before all my other pets, instead of at the end.

On the Bumbus Queen's page and on the Assign Custom Overlay page: 3. Whirl Wind 2. Oddest 1. Dark One Again, they are listed at the beginning instead of at the end.

That makes 5 out of 6 options, but give me a mo'... Never mind; I've run out of places to look!

Hey ! When you have a few moments, can you let me know what areas still need to be updated? That way we can make sure they still are on the radar. :)

It's still going out of order everywhere. I just kinda figured it was low-priority to get fixed and have mostly just ignored it. :)

It only affects pets most recently adopted.
