I'm trying for a nice hair wearable, and I did the line-art part.

Now however I'm stuck with the coloring. I've seen really nice custom hairs and I want to color at their level. Anyone know a tutorial? The only one I found was this one, but that doesn't look one bit like the pretty custom hairs I've seen.
