I created this account over a year ago (I think) but never touched it... thinking about investing some time into this site. Where do I start? What keeps people actively coming back? :)

Thanks for the response ! I originally joined because I was becoming disillusioned with some other pet site and wanted to see if there was something more age appropriate for me out there. But then I guess it's just really hard to get into something for the first time, especially when everyone else seems to have been around for years!

I will say I'm probably most interested in collecting things! Is there a part of the site or something off site that has a list of items on Subeta?

I linked Subetalodge, which is the item database, it can also help you track your collections. Are there any items you are interested in particular?

What I liked about it here was that compared to some other sites, the currency is not too difficult to earn - so regardless of your level of 'wealth' on the site, you can get buy and some items can be earnt and generally I enjoy the site more.

Doing quests is pretty helpful for starting yourself off with some sP to get the things you want.

But I do understand sometimes if you don't have a friend showing you the ropes, it can be harder to get into the groove at a new site.

The community here is pretty friendly, and that's a big factor of why I personally like it here. Some sites let users have troll accounts or whatever, and people can't be trusted, whereas generally I've had fairly positive experiences with most people I come across (keeping common sense in mind, of course) :)

Welcome back Hyoid :) As a newbie, I can say that the quests are a good way to kind of zone out and finding some cool items along the way. I am a bit of hoarder, so the cool items I find i always get giddy lol. I like shiny things too so that helps haha.

Thanks for all the advice... so far I've managed to at least figure out how to get dressed lol Now I'll just have to figure everything else out...

and thanks yeah I will have to find some items worth collecting!

Hi Rei! Honestly, the quests keep me coming back. I find them to be really relaxing and a great way to zone out from my job. I also like the achievements - having frequent goals to keep moving towards and seeing the accomplishments along the way feels really good.
