Hi there! I've been meaning to change one of my pet names for a long time, and finally splurged on CSC to do so! :D
I wanted the name "Soren," but this is taken. (I'm a huge Guardians of Ga'Hoole fan!)
The only two misspellings available I have found that would be the closest (phonetically speaking) are Soaryn OR Sorryn.
Which one do YOU think I should I choose?
NOTE: PLEASE - no one take either name before I decide because that would be really poopy of you.)

I too vote Sorryn - however, if the pet in question is a bird, I'd pick Soaryn

I'm gonna go with Soaryn - because Sorryn looks like the word "sorry" with an N stuck on it. Also because of the bird thing that mentioned.
I have a pet named Goria (which means "burning" or "sorrow" in Russian) which I named, but I have since come to dislike the name because I keep misreading it as Gloria. Similarly, I have a pet named Mylki (which means "soapy" in Russian). I like Mylki's name, but I feel like I'm going to have to forever explain that it was not a transposition of the letters in "milky" but a transliteration of the Russian Cyrillic spelling.
Anyway, all that to say, if you're going to have a name that looks like an actual word, you'd probably want to go more with the one that has positive connotations than negative ones and that could possibly tie in with the backstory of the character. :) Learn from my mistakes!
i like sorryn more personally! :>

And yeah, I noticed that too about the word "sorry" but I also think of the pronunciation so it's a tough choice xD )
