Month 99 || October MegaContest

Welcome to the WPP's October Megacontest! Halloween is my favorite holiday and I have been saving up for a couple months to force the fun on all of you bring you this contest that I hope you can all enjoy entering as much as I enjoy hosting.

This contest at its core is simple. The tl;dr: There are a series of prompts. You 1) pick a prompt, 2) pick one of your subeta pets, and 3) write a story about OR draw a picture of the pet using that prompt as inspiration. There is one prize for the judge's favorite entry, one prize for the people's favorite entry, about a dozen raffle prizes that can go to anyone who entered picked by RNG so everyone has an equal chance of winning, plus a few raffle prizes for those who don't enter but comment on the entries on this thread.

The entry does NOT have to be spooky, but instead you can pick an autumn, Halloween, or October theme instead of horror. It is up to you! (By the way, if you're a regular participant of the WPP and are worried about getting entries in while also working on a contest, I am going to be doing a lot of very chill entries this month to balance it out! And there's also no harm in skipping the weekly prompts if you want to focus on the big one.)

Writing and drawing rules: create one work of art, starring one of your Subeta pets, based on one of the tropes listed below. That gets you one raffle ticket. Use a Subeta background as the setting and get another raffle ticket. Use one of the listed items in your drawing or story and get a third entry. That’s three possible tickets per entry.

Post some accolades to someone else’s entry and get another raffle ticket. (Give someone a gold star).

You can only win one main raffle prize, but you can also win a mini raffle of Morty cards, gold stars, or subeautique invites in addition to the final raffle.

Step 1: Pick the pet you're going to write about! It has to be a pet you own on Subeta. Fan pets, tribute pets, OCs, as long as the character or concept is represented by a pet you own here on Subeta.

It does not have to be long; on average we hit around 500 words in our weekly prompt. It's up to you how much you write or how long you take to draw, as long as you've followed the prompt. If it is a very long story, post the first bit and put the rest under a spoiler tag to keep the page from getting too long. Drawings are all automatically resized, feel free to link to the full-sized image.

Use the code below so Mackenzi can visually identify it as an entry to the contest. It needs the orange bar at the top. Entries are accepted from October 1st through October 31st. The cutoff times are Subeta time at Midnight, so as long as you get your entries in by 11:59 PM Subeta time October 31st then you're good. Trick R Treat: 31 Movies of Halloween

[/box] [box=#444069] [/box] To keep the spirit of the season and to add some more challenge, I am going to post a little quiz each Tuesday: 5 horror movie gifs will be posted, and it's up to you to guess the movies. SMAIL ME (don't comment!) the answers and anyone who gets it right will get a goodie bag of candy. :D The fewer people who get the answer right, the more valuable the candy will be. You do not have to have an entry in the main contest to particpate, everyone is welcome. Pet types:

1. Undead- Fresh. This pet wants meat, blood, and body parts that are fresh or cooked. This includes cooked and baked foods with bones, eyes, brains, etc.
2. Undead - Rotten. This pet wants rotten foods, leftovers such as drool, pus, snot, and poop, as well as undercooked baked foods, moldy foods, etc.
3. Insectivore - Anything and everything with bugs, maggots, spiders, ants, any kind of creepy crawly.
4. Incinerator - This pet wants all of the above, including zombie and rotten foods, especially half-eaten food, wrappers, etc.
5. Rift - This pet wants galactic, nuclear, other-plane, warped, glitched, or otherwise astral foods.
