What was the point of the Cash Shop main page?

It has not been updated since February. Cash Shop Seems like a waste of time and effort that could have gone elsewhere in the site.
--EDIT-- And now it seems someone remembered that page exists, because it updated with all kinds of news! lol

The images are different sizes too. Support, do away with it if it isn't going to be updated except once in a few months.

Lol I think the way it's supposed to work is it just grabs whatever news posts are Cash Shop related and shows them there for anyone interested. Maybe something with it broke so it wasn't showing anything new, and nobody noticed until it was mentioned here? Just a guess, I'm not sure if it's supposed to be an automatic thing or someone has to manually tag the posts that show up there.
I was wondering why the bonus weekends weren’t showing up there haha
Is there a link to a news feed I’m missing or does it only show so many news stories? Suggestion to make a cash shop news feed to browse releases and retirements.
I did notice that nothing was changing and was thinking that there would be some site event related to it for Masquerade (because robots) or Vesnali (because pink). Guess not?
It's not paginated? From marketing point of view this isn't necessary because most of those old itema are no longer buyable, and the information is available elsewhere for the historical- and thorough- minded sorta folks. Some of the items are still limted-time items but will be there for longer than a month though.
Maybe make a tab for limited-time news so folks who don't necessarily pay attention for month-to-month Weekend/GA/Challenger sales can still get those items and the information on them won't seem buried? I dunno.
Does anyone know how far or how many posts it goes back?
If you are already up to date with the news page, then you probably know all the latest news and promotions. But if you're not caught up, then it's better just to read the news page for the recent months.
Or there could be a way to apply a filter on the news page for cash shop posts?
Staff manually write and post every news post (except for the pet spotlight which is automatic, I think that's the only automatic one though) So I think it was just an honest mistake if some Cash Shop news posts didn't show up there, since we have to manually check a box for that. We're only human "^^
For the landing page, we also wanted to provide clearer navigation links to each part of the cash shop, and display the refund policy in a more prominent place.
