Hi and welcome to my 2019 Birthday Bash 💝

I try to hold a site giveaway every year on my anniversary and my birthdays- the last few times I've dealt with anxiety/depression or just sickness and hadn't been able to hold my giveaways on those days- [I]so this year I decided to be smart and kick-start this early[/I] 🎁

My actual birthday is June 11, and I will turn 26 this year 🍰

The past couple of days I've been struggling with extreme feelings of isolation and loneliness, compacted by my anxiety- while I know there are so many people who I can talk to on this site, that doesn't help when my mind doesn't always remember that 🎈

[I]Because of the feeling of being isolated, I've decided to change up my usual giveaway style this time[/I] 🎉

This Year's Giveaway: 1: This year I want participants to find a new users on this site, or someone you know is shy or doesn't have many friends 2: Reach out to them, give them a gift, offer friendship or someone to talk to, just get to know them 3: Let me know who you reached out to, let them know about this thread- they are entitled to a gift as well 4: Both you and the person you reached out to can pick either a June Collection item of your choice from any year or an item from either of my two shops

I know there is a chance multiple people will reach out to the same person, and that's totally fine! But participants, and the person they reach out to will each only receive one gift

At this time, if you were reached out to someone first and requested your item and decided you want to continue participating by reaching out to someone else, I will keep your name in a separate pool- I want to be able to give you a second gift, but I may not have the resources right away

has been here for about 2 months. I first met them on the Shoutbox, and since then have been trying to help them out with the site and figuring out the holidays and such. It's been nice getting to know them, and even though they're young, they're pretty respectful and cool to talk to :)

Happy almost birthday!!!!! I turn 27 on the 9th, so woooo! I just wanted to say that I am in a similar boat.

My anxiety and depression kind of lead to a self-imposed isolation from the “well, I won’t hang out with you FIRST” kind of deal and other fun factors. I’m in a better place, but I’m still trying to figure out how to reconnect with people. So from my boat to yours, I hope you have a great birthday and year!

I just wanted to wish you a happy birthday. I get that all consuming loneliness, I have a whole host of MH disorders and don't really have any friends because I isolate myself so much. I don't know anyone on the site to reach out to because I don't interact. I post on the SB once in a blue moon but honestly I just get scared of trying to make friends. I'm 33 and my best friend is my husband well except for who is a long way away from me. We met on Neopets and she's been through a ton of rubbish with me she's the best person I know but I'm even scared of talking to her right now.

Your story touched me as I myself have been avoiding reaching out to people in real life because of anxiety, etc. I am still blessed do have a supportive family and husband. (and friens too, but yeah reaching out is hard sometimes) I am glad I made some great friends here over the last few years.
