I wasn't sure where to put this, it could be a long story, but I wont bore you with it, basically my hard drive was dying, so we put in a new hard drive, Ive now got 3 hard drives in [dont ask] and its not doing bad, I do have a niggly feeling its not perfect, but its a ton better than it was.
Anyway the clock in the bottom corner keeps losing a few hours,it seems to be when Im doing something else, like playing sims4 it seems to 'forget' what time it should be, I've googled it, and tried various things like looking at Services and setting 'windows time' to automatic [it was on manual] Im hoping its not the bios or cmos, stuff like that is a bit scary for me!
its an old compy, Alienware Aurora R4 we've put in better nvidia card, and water cooler, and now a new hard drive and reinstalled windows 7 and drivers, I wanted sims 4 back and that gets a bit choppy.

Sorry if Im not around as much, my computer is playing up.Raggys CW Wishlist

Mine did the same thing months back but I forget how I fixed it entirely, so much has happened since. I'm sorry, if I remember, I'll let you know. x_x;;

thanks for replying anyway :o) I've got a feeling its the cmos battery, so we're going to give that a go tomorrow, its been doing some weird things,so Im hoping it'll be the final thing that might help. It is a pretty old computer now and they say 5 years for the battery, it doesnt look too scary to fit one,just hoping we dont have to mess too much in the bios!
