Hi all. I'm trying to decide on a look for my new pet,

Opinion Needed: I'm stuck between these four for her look. What do you guys think works best? (If I go with Glacier Popoko, I will likely do an overlay to make her look more cheerful.)

Question: But before I can make an informed decision, I gotta know: what in the world is on the Chibi Popoko's arm? Is that supposed to be its collar??

I do think it’s supposed to be a collar haha. My personal preference is the nostalgic devonti, the nice yarn texture is so pretty and cozy and warm looking, I could imagine her with blankets and other heavy knit cozy items with a similar texture.

I think its the too big of a collar on the chibi and both paws are slipped through, the overly toothy smile is just before it slips out of the collar and runs off around the house chittering 'can't catch me'.

I love your idea, I like the Glacier Popoko - with a smirk or a smile as pretty and fluffy.

I'd pick the Chibi Popoko.

Thanks so much for your help! I haven't quite decided yet, but I'm leaning toward the chibi popoko, depending on if I can make an overlay of them as I see it in my mind.

To be fair, the collar on the glacier popoko is very hard to see! It could also easily be mistaken for shading.

Your reasoning is exactly why I considered the nostalgic devonti as an option...but for some reason, I'm just not feeling it. =/ It seems like it would be perfect, though!

I vote the chibi popoko as well! I love the expression, and the way they're using their tail like a big, warm, fluffy blanket makes a great connection to the name :)

That being said, an overlay could put a smile on the glacier's face and a warm blanket on their shoulders, their posture is perfect for that! Same with the chibi devonti - a blanket over their head would be pretty cute!

Sometimes I try to sketch out my story first and see what pet ends up fitting that little bit more perfectly.

I like the nostalgic one best. It reminds me the most of a quilt or blanket
