So I want to leash my pet Zanzibelle. I've changed her headshot, but when I post on the forums it still shows some random part of her anatomy-- like a few wisps of her hair. On the Pet Leashes page it shows the correct headshot, and when I leash a different pet it shows the headshot the way I want it to be, but not on Zanzibelle. I've tried resaving a new headshot, removing leashes altogether and then re-adding them, and logging out and logging back in. None of those things worked. Any other ideas?

Have you waited a little bit? It might be a cache issue where it hasn't quite caught up with the new headshot image and is still showing the old one for a while. Maybe give it fifteen minutes or so and then see?

Edit: I would think logging out and then back in might help with that, but....honestly, if it's not the cache I don't have a clue. :c

Possibly related, I've had this problem with updated headshots showing properly on my profile. What I do is edit the profile section with the pets in it and simply hit "update" and it fixes the problem immediately.

I haven't noticed the same problem with leashes, but you might try it. The next step would be to clear your browser's cache, and I always find that a hassle.

Thanks for trying. I tried updating the pet section and clearing my cache-- still no luck. Would it be appropriate to submit a ticket for this?

Thank you! :) I don't think it would hurt to submit a ticket. Especially since I can see your leashed pet and the headshot is clearly not what you wanted - just a fizzle of flame.

Yeah, they do both tend to dress gorgeously. Wait until you see what they do for Vesnali.

I do think you should file a Ticket in Help, because it's been awhile and all I see of Zanzibelle is those same wisps, so it's not a cache issue.

you are welcome, and I am glad it is now working for you. Did it resolve on it's own, or did staff need to do something? It would be useful for those of us who hang out here in H&Q to know. That way if someone has the same issue we can answer it more accurately.

I opened a ticket, and it was apparently turned over to the programmers. I'm not sure what voodoo they did, but whatever it was, it worked :)
