I'm on a quest for Major Drills where I need to:

Quote
Give your pet a Orange Vanity Rose Brush to play with
(0/1)[

I've tried:

  1. Playing with Sulpher and Javier
  2. Remove Javier's pet, try play again.
  3. Feed javier until his hunger is 8/10, try play again.
  4. Play with javier until the brush disappeared from my inventory.

The tally remains 0/1 :(

Time's ticking!! This quest ends in 21 minutes.

please help

I think that if your pet's happiness is at 10, it doesn't count. :(

Well that stinks. I got 1 minute left now and I'm not going to adopt a pet just to play :(

Thanks a lot for the info.

@ inuraichi You can adopt a pet from the pound and play with it. That should count! lmao nevermind, we posted that at the same time. xD

It takes a while for happiness to tick down after you remove a minion (I think it's an hour?), so having a few pets without minions can come in handy for Major Drills.

Pets will refuse to play with (and thus actually destroy) a toy if they're happy. Therefore that the brush is missing is weird. Drills doesn't refresh on it's nwn, maybe your pet did play with it? If it didn't, it might be useful to find out where the heck it actually went?

I just checked out Javier and it looks like you accidentally put the brush in his treasure instead of giving it to him to play with. :)
