SO a little about me.

I am 30 and have no real idea what I'm doing with my life-- but this means that I'm looking for a partner who is capable not only of writing literate, multi-paragraph posts, but also capable of handling mature topics. (Of course, if something comes up that you're just not comfortable with, let me know and I will drop it! We all have triggers, but I can't fix it if I don't know it's a problem!)

I love romance, but only if it makes sense. Most of the time this means 'slow burn' and that is just fine for me! I love seeing a relationship evolve and change over time (obv I'm looking for a long-term partner, lol), not just ... fairytale falling in love at first sight. That being said, I'm good with p. much all pairings—the only one I'm a bit stiff about is fxf. I'll do it, but you'll probably have to persuade me!

Another thing: I love blood and tragedy.

No, you don't understand. I LOVE blood and tragedy. You know the ending of the movie The Mist? THAT kind of tragedy, with just like COPIOUS amounts of blood and lots and lots of near-death experiences, no matter what the rp is. Because of this I've been told that I actually like hurt/comfort, but ok watev man I just calls my loves as I sees 'em

... so if you don't appreciate t'occasional character near-death (or actual death-- could end in a plot to get the deceased back from the afterlife somehow, which is tons of fun to rp with the right characters!), but if you've always wanted to kill your own characters but the people who actually, truly appreciate that thing are few and far between, well ...

and honestly following that it is too obvi but on the off-chance it needs spelled out: I love conflict!! I love conflict and I love Daddy Issues™ and I love Redemption Arcs, and Reformed Villains, and Distressed Damsels Done Right!

also time travel and alternate universes where Things Are Horrible™ and the emotional anguish of fixing a timeline but returning to your own ruined one, AND ALSO just well-written self-sacrifice in general ESPECIALLY if it's a former villain sacrificing themselves/something that Matters to them, and

• ARK—seriously, idfk WHY, since I haven't actually finished the Island story yet (no spoilers please!) so I have no gd idea what the ARKs are (though I have guesses ehehehe), but I just ... want to play a freshly tamed sabertooth trying to adapt to life with his new slave companion partner ... person idk don't look at meeeee buries face in hands
• SPN, or Supernatural—yes ok quick before you pull out your pitchforks: I'm talking a SPN AU, wherein the world has ended and seraphim are assigned as 'guardians' to certain humans who are Important in some way. The angels look like this. The (teenage, semi-well-adjusted) Winchesters do not approve. Other misc stuff includes Bobby and Ellen being alive, well, and wed, because you will not take this from me. • Pokemon—As a warning, I like my pokemon rp dark. This comic sums it up perfectly: I've crafted my own kind of political system and everything, because I am such a nerd dkgjkshg
• Gravity Falls—alsdkfagh I LOVE SO MANY AUS FROM THIS SHOW. Float pretty much ANYTHING to me and I will be on it like a starving multidimensional entity exempt from space and time!!

• People of Earth—HNNNG THIS SHOW. Jonathan and Nancy raising bby!Ozzie faslkdfjalskdgh LIZARD-MAN AND ANDROID RAISING A HUMAN CHILD. One time when I was rping this AU with a friend who replaced Ozzie with an oc, the oc took to calling Jonathan 'Scaleface' and he'd tease her even though he was out doing v. illegal and dangerous things to keep his little family safe, and just aaaaaaaaaa it was so pure and I want more again. especially with the news that they canceled the next season brb weeping
• ANYTHING, even OCs, (ESPECIALLY ocs??) to do with Clare Bell's Books of the Named series—dkfjskgh MORE BIG CATS but god I love this world so much?? I want to make herder ocs or Unnamed ocs or or or slathers and foams at the mouth
• Lucifer—oh lord I genuinely do not know where to start. BUT PLEASE. YES. Someone be the Amenadiel to my Luciferrrrr OR OR OR the Chloe?? I also dig p. much any pairing involving Maze and also any pairing involving Amenadiel and HONESTLY IF THERE ARE ANY OTHER LUCIFANS OUT THERE I WILL RP LITERALLY A N Y T H I N G WITH YOU JUST TAG ME IN
• a little hesitantly, Marvel—I wasn't sure exactly where to put this or if I even SHOULD bcI'm not a superfan and I haven't read the comics or really seen ALL the movies, buuut I love this one AU in which Loki has a decent relationship with his Asgardian family I WILL FITE U FOR DECENT-FATHER-FIGURE!ODIN OK but still decided of his own accord to go off traversing alternate dimensions, and SOMEHOW wound up adopting a bby!Parker to take with him on his inter-universe-jaunts IN SPITE of Peter not being able to perform magic (maybe??) and just. pls someone come be my precious jotunn sorcerer's bby spiderman
• Jurassic Park or Raptor Red—DINO OCS. RAPTOR[/B][/I] OCS. That is all.
• [b]Camp Camp—[i]is this not the purest gd thing you've ever seen I want a David to complete my Gwen and adopt Max bc if YOU'VE NOT GATHERED YET I kinda have A Thing™ for found/dysfunctional-yet-somehow-it-works families

ANYWAY

oh and ... as I was editing to add Gravity Falls, I realized—a lot of the plots I love involve deception (eg: a girl rescues what she thinks is a hurt dog, maybe got in a fight with a cougar, takes him home with her and nurses him back to health and OH GOD HE'S A WEREWOLF), or some kind of guardian etc that resents their charge ... except ... over time ...

I JUST LOVE WHEN THAT WHOLE CHARACTER ARC HAPPENS DKJGKSGHHH ok ok I'm calm I'm fine.

oh yes, absolutely!! My timezone is usually around 2pm-2am PST/MST (I'm in Arizona so it varies depending on daylight savings!) I believe it's currently Mountain so uhhh squints Subeta time -3??
