I'm completely new to CW's, so please tell me if this topic should be moved/I should ask this elsewhere
I was wondering what determines the exceptional popularity (and value) of certain CW's, like the Rum Cakes and Little Piggy Sweaters or the Sheep Satins. Everyone seems to own one or want one (eg. have it on their WL), and the price seems to reflect that by being considerably above slot. Does the CW market just universally agree these are some of the most beautiful objects csc can buy? Were they extremely well-advertised? Extremely limited releases? Or is the popularity a self-fulfilling prophecy because they can essentially be used as currencies to trade for anything else?
I'd appreciate clarification from someone who knows more about the CW market :)
hey hon. the reason why they are in such demand is because they are very universal items that can be used and a style liked by many. Another reason why they are so expensive a lot of those have limited copies. Some only have 10, some have 20 max.
