This introduction is a little overdue as I have been back for about 2 weeks now, but I figured late is better than never!
I found out about Subeta many, many years ago and don't really remember how I stumbled upon it. I wish I still had my original account, but I guess Subeta gets rid of people who like to go on more than 1 year-long hiatuses. The amount of time I spent away between this account and the last account is probably the longest I've ever been gone. However, this time, I think I will be here to stay for a long while.
In my spare time I like to play console games and other PC games. Reading and knitting are my favorite non-screen hobbies. Of course, I also like to watch movies and shows. Right now I am trying to finish Naruto Shippuden. The last book I read was called the Outsider by S. King and I am currently working on a silk/merino wool lace scarf. I have 2 house cats -- a tabby named Blackstar and a grey long-haired named Berlioz. My boyfriend and I want a dog, but not until we move out of our apartment into a house.
I've always loved Subeta! It's one of the best and most consistent virtual pet games to play out there! In my opinion, at least. I don't really have a favorite pet, yet. They are all so cute!!
Glad to be back!! :)
Welcome back! c:
You should be able to get into your old account still if you remember the info for it. If you didn't have much, it won't matter too much anyway - except for a potential loyalty box you might have after a year.
I was gone for three years on this account and came back :)
Good luck and welcome back!!
Welcome back!
Subeta used to delete accounts but no longer does, so it probably did get deleted if it was a long time ago. :)
Thanks!
As long as you login once a year, you won't lose anything. You can lose your username or pets names if you don't login for a year, but you keep your accounts and you get free renames if you don't login, but as long as it's at least once a year you're fine!
Welcome back to subeta, hope you come to love it and stay around c: all the pets are great! I do have favorites and you'll find the ones you love too. If you need any help or have questions we'd all be be willing to help. The shoutbox also has users who can also answer them too. Hope to see you around ~
Welcome back! Looks like you've already settled in fine, but don't be shy if you've any questions c:

Hi there, welcome back! I know this thread is from April, but I read your post and thought "WOW SAME" at so many things, haha. (I also used to be on Subeta ages ago, loved it, life happened, then I lost the account info and am back with a new one.)
If you're still working on the silk/merino scarf, may I ask what the pattern is? :0 I'm a huge knitter myself as well; I love looking at cute patterns and cute FOs! I've been knitting some cute and easy socks for my partner – here's the pattern on Rav, and here's an image that doesn't require you to log in to Rav, haha.

Hey, thank you!! I'm really glad you posted -- it's great to hear from someone who has similar experiences/interests!
Yay for a fellow knitter!! I love the pattern you shared, however I've never attempted socks because I have a hard time with those tiny DP needles. Although I have always wanted to make socks... maybe one day, lol. What color did you pick? That pattern is so cute I went ahead and saved it for the future on my own Rav. This is the pattern I am currently using. I'm even using their suggested yarn, except in one of their light blue shades (for the life of me I can't remember which one).
Oh gosh, the pattern you're using is so cute! It looks nice and cozy, but still light, which is always a good combination. I love the bobble detailing along the garter edges as well. It'll look so nice in light blue! How much more do you have to go on it?
Here's a photo of my first sock-in-progress, to show you the color. I totally know how you feel about the tiny DPNs! I actually hate using DPNs at all (especially for socks), so I'm using a technique called the Magic Loop method. It uses one set of circulars with a long cable instead of DPNs, and it's my favorite thing in the world – in addition to being easier to knit quickly (and just hold/manage) compared to DPNs, it also eliminates the laddering that can happen with DPNs. I definitely recommend looking into it if you want to knit socks!

Yes it is very light and cozy, I'm glad you think so as well. Thank you! I'm a little bit more than halfway done. I've slowly been working on it in waves for the last several years.. so I'm ready to be done with it and move on to other projects I have not finished.
❤️ I adore the color you chose! It looks like it is coming along wonderfully as well. I've definitely heard of the Magic Loop method and even tried it out for a moment via someone trying to quickly show me how it works. I couldn't quite catch on right away, but it's great to hear it works out well from someone else too! I'll definitely have to give it a shot again when I go for a sock pattern next.
Totally understandable, that's a long project! I was working on a shawl for 2+ years and it was such a relief to finish it. I hope you're able to get it finished soon, it'll be such a nice wardrobe piece!
Thank you! I love the color too. :) Magic Loop is a little hard to get the hang of at the beginning, but I've found it well worth the effort. It makes sock knitting much more fun – which is great, because there are so many nice sock patterns out there to make, haha.
BTW, would you mind if I added you as a friend? :0
