I wish to make a story for my pet

Rags based on this real life dog. My question: is it okay to use the information I find on the internet, as long as I don't copy the information word-for-word, and as long as I reference all my sources? If so, is it advisable to link to the references?

Tribute pets like this are fine. :) As long as you write it in your own words, it shouldn't be a problem at all. See here, under "Tell us about your pet".

Linking to articles you've referenced is a good idea too. As well as crediting source material, it's a nice way to let others know where they can read more on the subject of your pet.

Thank you for answering my question! I looked around at site rules and on the pet forums, but it didn't occur to me to look on the spotlight page. You have been very helpful! :) ❤️
