So this is more of a casual hunt, but I thought I'd throw out a net and see what I catch. I have a few original characters (for once) floating around that I hope to find names for. I'll be fairly picky about them, but I'll look at any real words that fit the criteria! If you feel like peeking at all of the resources and scrambled eggs English I provide and helping me brainstorm, you're the real MVP.
Barret Vistoire
Warnings for cannibalism and violence.
This one would go with his brother who already has a pet on here. Vistoire I'd love to have a matching V name, but that's a little difficult and limiting so I'm looking for something aggressive/haunting.
The basic gist of the brothers' story is that they're from a family who's been cannibalizing for generations, originating from a Donner party-esque incident that snowballed into a habit. The story itself is set in the 1920s and mostly revolves around Percy, the youngest in the family-- but Barret, the older brother and main antagonist plays an important part as well. This pet would be for Barret, a sociopath that is well aware of how vile his actions are, he just doesn't care. His main goal in life is to see his brother Percy dead because he's jealous of him, so he antagonizes him at every chance he gets. He has a predatory nature, being that he's the one that does most of the 'hunting'. He very much has a God complex, and he'll single out his victims for a transgression he thinks they've committed. He's feral in nature, and will be a nightmare tigrean.
Basics aside, the first draft of the full short story he's in is available to read on Vistoire's profile, though I'd love to do a one-off that focuses on Barret. I've also briefly unprivated his pinterest board, as I feel like that gives a better idea of the aesthetic I have going for him.
Jason Krueger aka McFuckin' Edgelord
Jason is a hot mess and his story is in shambles. Literally most of the reason I want him is because his treasure would be fun to build ksdfjdshlgh.
He started his unfortunate life as a Supernatural knock-off that I roleplayed with my best friend of that time. Like literal LARPing in addition to writing, pffffttt. What a nightmare. He was a Sam knock-off, my friend played his brother Dean Matt. He gained actual character development along the way and is more his own character now than ever. Anyway it's been about eleven or twelve years, and the friend and I have fallen out of touch. His brother was a huge part of his story and I don't know how to replace him which is why he's fallen by the wayside. But I'd love to build his SPN themed treasure for reasons, and I've never lost my fondness for him. His story was a hybrid version of SPN and Jason Bourne (entirely my friend's doing) so he has that edgy mid 2000s government mercenary vibe going for him.
Basically he and his brother were brainwashed into being government pawns, and now hunt monsters on behalf of them and do other nefarious and dubious things that they should be concerned about but aren't. Your basic twelve-year old storyline. You can enjoy his cringey, mostly unedited character profile and old art here. Should be noted: I hate myself for ever even writing like that lmfao. If you can find the Kesha reference in it without using Ctrl+F, I'll throw you 100k.
