I (impulsively) threw my baby

Boothill into The Rift, not knowing he wouldn't immediately pop back out like items and sP did. He's completely gone from my pets list and profile, and it says his owner is The Rift... I feel like I made a huge mistake, and I really want him back. I just thought it might change his color or something and was curious about it, I didn't think it would just... delete him. Does anyone know what the outcome of this whole thing will be, and if there's any hope for getting him back? I know, its my own fault, I was being stupid and didn't think it over, but I'd be willing to buy CSC if it means he comes back safely and isn't permanently voided. He means a lot to me, and I genuinely just thought it would be a random color/stat/gender/etc change.

they just addressed this, yes your pet will be coming back :)

My poor pet is lost in there too. I really wonder what will happen to it. O:

Phew. I'm glad at least it didn't delete him/make him permanently owned by an NPC. At least now I know that worst case scenario, I just save up for a potion to fix anything if the results are undesirable.

I threw one of my pets into the rift also, I legit thought they were gone forever. Glad to hear otherwise lol

Just in case anybody new comes along and sees this post after the News rolls over into a new page, you pet comes back Riftborn color if your pet can come in Riftborn, and if it can't be colored Riftborn at the time of yeet, it will come back as a Rift Anomaly 001 or 002

It seems to take two days to get your pet back.
