Whoops! You need to be wearing a mask to be permitted into the Masquerade. I'm so sorry! Perhaps you could pick up one from Migrating Masks?

All of a sudden I’m getting this. I haven’t changed my HA or his clothes. You can’t see his mask but it is on according to the wardrobe. I removed it and put it on again with no luck. Site won’t let me dance. Anyone else?

Sorry to hear you’re encountering this error. I’d maybe check on the problems and bugs forums and see if there’s a thread on the issue there. I’ve had this happen to me in Masquerades past, so frustrating. If you’ve double checked your Ha & are definitely wearing a mask then I’d try checking on the problems & bugs forum & seeing if anyone else is having this issue.

I checked and didn’t see it there. I’m not sure if I should file a ticket or not.

I don't know which mask you're currently wearing, but I think something changed so now you need to be wearing one of the masks from Migrating Masks. I ran into someone earlier having the same problem and using one of the shop masks worked for them (they had been using the Blazing Mask, which is not from MM, up until today when it suddenly stopped working).

Not sure if that's related to the problem, but: They changed the requirement for a mask. As long as there's the word "Mask" in it, you can now use any item for the Masquerade.

That can be a mask from Migrating Masks, a mask like the or even (both from the Menagerie) :)

But earlier today, it was found that "Blazing Mask" did not work. Do you mean they JUST changed it, so that anything with "mask" in the name would work? Like in the last few hours?

No... I meant that it was supposed to work that way since the beginning of this Masq. So by that definition, the Blazing Mask should work... Looks like I got it wrong then, sorry :/

Apparently, it had been working up until just today. So I think you're right that they made that change at the beginning of Masq so that any "mask" would work. ^^ It seems that change has just been undone today though.

I think your best bet, if you're having trouble with your mask, is to just use one of the normal restockable ones from Migrating Masks for now.

Edit: A mask from migrating masks worked. I hope they change it back to any item with the word mask in it.

Just an FYI if you don't want the mask to actually show in your HA, you should be able to layer it below your base so it stays hidden but will still work for dancing and such.

Also I'm not sure about the migrating masks thing because I'm only wearing this blue skull mask which isn't from there and I haven't had any issues so far. Hopefully if there's some sort of glitch in the requirements, it can be sorted out soon.

My mask is from the Moldy Opera Trunk -male items costume trunk from the Cash Shop, and it's working. shrug
