Anyone play this game? It's probably my favorite game of all time! If I could only play one game for the rest of my life, I think this would be it! I have it for PC, Xbox, and now the new mobile version.

it's like this post was made for me i've gotten re-addicted to it lately and also just married shane, the best sad chicken man i've mostly been working on getting a good farm layout planned and also tending a flower garden because i just discovered that flowers change the kind of honey you get

you mean like multiplayer? there is multiplayer on the pc version and i think it's coming to the switch version soon!

The multiplayer for switch is out actually! So I have it on steam, and was gifted it on the switch. Haley was my first wife. She's great 1000% I love her very much. In my most recent file I tried courting nearly all the males, and I found out that some of them were so bland? Like I did this to see if there was like a really cute heart event for some that I didn't know. ( I try not to spoil myself ) I mainly was trying for Sam. Don't. He's the blandest bachelor I've ever experienced ever. Which is okay! But like 10000% not for me.

Shane is also my bachelor of choice! I wish the room they put into your house wasn't like that though.. When he's had some good events.. Like that's not his life anymore..

i like haley! abigail is my favorite gal tho i'm with you on sam, he's just not very interesting to me, maybe its the haircut. same with elliot (though the pompous prettyboy trope is repellant to me to begin with)

i use mods so all the spouse rooms look nice, but i know what you mean. my guess is since all the spouse rooms are just supposed to be condensed versions of their rooms at home, concernedape just didn't think about the implications lol

I tried so hard with Sam.. I got like 4 heart events... but.. He's just so... bland. Not romantic at all. Like my god I did try.

I feel like a lot of the bachelors are kind of...young? i mean, maybe it's just that I'm old (27) but Sam, Alex, and Sebastian seem like late teens/early 20s. I feel weird for flirting with them lol. Harvey kind of creeps me out...the mustache does not help. But sometimes when you talk to him he says something like "i want to get to know you better. Let's put our doctor-patient relationship aside." yikes

I love Shane so much but I agree about his room, and in general when you marry him they make him so slobby and gross. He's always slurping and burping lol. I just kinda look past it. I love him too much.

If anyone is into fanfics, there are a few reallllllly good Stardew ones. I highly recommend For a Long Time Looking at Stars by Ginger-Delight-Writes. It's on fanfiction.net and ao3. It's about Sophia moving to the farm and meeting Shane. but it's novel length and sooo well written. The characters are all so deeply layered and complex. Shane isn't "fixed" by falling in love with Sophia. I've reread it a few times it's so good.

I do! just restarted since I found out you can also play it on your mobile. Although that fishing game is still annoying lol

I agree fishing is annoying, and frustrating, especially on mobile. On Xbox I managed to catch every single fish, even legendaries. On mobile I was struggling to catch the catfish, luckily the travelling cart was selling one so I could use it for the community center.

I have the game on PC and I really love it. I haven't played it in a while but I want to get back into it. As for marriage, I tend to choose Sebastian.

I ended up playing it a lot on switch I’m at a point during year 4 where I’m pretty happy with how everything is and I got mostly everything I want. Might go back to it someday though. Or start a multiplayer farm. I married Sam, was great.
