These are great:
but the cutout they make is white, which means I can only use one other backdrop with them. I would love to be able to use them to layer solid-color backdrops like the paint can set, but they're not transparent. Something with a similar effect that is transparent would be lovely.

I'm having trouble picturing how that would work.

It might be me just not being able to wrap my head around the suggestion itself, but you'd still only be able to see one backdrop behind the item? The transparent areas are what show your background, so any additional transparent areas or whatever would just...show that same background, not a second one.

Unless you just want an alternative to white that does a similar thing, which I definitely support (I could especially see black versions being useful)

Not sure how the coding for that would work, unfortunately, though it's certainly an interesting idea!

I do really like the idea of black versions though, as brought up!

I love the cutout items, but the glaring white often looks well...glaring. I want to be able to add color to them without adding color to the background as well (examples using the Candied Fairy Dust and bath bomb)

But I don't see any way of doing it short of simply recoloring the items.
