Hello there! : ) Just wanted to put into words that I'm disappointed that we didn't get a SINGLE new angelic pet all winter long. We didn't even get so much as a revamp of one. =| Angelic pets are my favorite, and I was really looking forward to seeing what would come out this year!

I'm putting out this board not to be rude or anything, but to officially have a user coming forward to say there are some of us that LOVE the angelics and please don't stop making them. :( I'm hoping at least one can be put out this year out of season, since they were skipped over.

Not gonna lie, I was surprised and a little disappointed too. :(

If I did my math right, there are 64 angelic pets out of 75 total pet species (excluding experiment pets). 74 if you exclude the urubu. Even aside from revamps, we're still missing some very old species being available!

Of the old pets, the harvester, tigrean and illumis are still not available in angelic. Some recent species, like the xotl, noktoa, zentu, qrykee and yaherra aren't available. The zasaba, for example, is available as an angelic. Lastly, the scootle, blob and urubu are also not there, but they're still new so that's expected.

I realize that it's a colour that's approaching completion, but it's also a CSC colour. So I think revamps as well as adding the missing species would be nice!

[edit]I realize that there are pets that don't have artists. I just find it very odd that many pet species which have been around for over 12 years haven't been released in a colour that takes real money (or stupid luck w/the potion lottery) to obtain.

Hey, thanks for letting us know! And yeah, I can see why the xotl would be tricky. My first thought was gliding frogs, but having feathers between your toes doesn't seem very pleasant. :P

Somewhat offtopic, but would it be possible to somehow gauge user interest for another new CSC colour? Neelas were fairly well received. The only big backlash that I can remember was about blacklight being a recolour of spectrum, but costing CSC to get.

Considering a lot of pet people are displeased with the lack of things to spend their CSC on once their petslots are bought, maybe it would be good to check userbase interest for something like this?

Does this mean we might get some other pets released in colours away from the usual seasons or holidays? Because I agree that it is annoying have to wait another year for the possibility of a new pet colour you're hoping for, especially when only a few are released per year. There could be creative ways to still have it tie in to something, like how Storm pets are released on Mondays (The day when it rains) any time of the year and not just during Vesnali. Maybe during one-off events that some of the colours tie into? Or maybe if a monthly theme covers a certain pet (Like last year with the Blob month) or type of pet (Like the dog pets or the bird pets) or ties in with a certain colour (For example, a theme based on toys could bring some new Nostalgic pets regardless of whether it's winter or not).

I understand that not every pet has an artist assigned to them at the moment, but maybe this would be a good chance to send out another notice saying you're looking for new artists? Especially when it comes to pets that need revamps, like the Aenoid. I also miss when more than one pet colour was released at a time in a news post, apart from the Vibrant pets from the other week, that last time we got more than one new pet colour at once was last year's Fireside, and that was only two pets. I don't know, I just feel like it's a bit slow to release new colours one at a time, but maybe I'm just impatient.

I do like that the new Sweetheart pets we got this year were older pets, and that so far the new Steamwork pet we got this year was also an older pet. And as much as I'd love to see new colours for the newer pets, I'm always fearing that it will end up as yet another Blob colour. Don't get me wrong, they are creative, but I feel like they're stealing too much of the spotlight X)

Some people would complain about a new CSC colour, but I think it would be a good way to encourage people to spend more CSC, or to buy more CSC and help to support the site. I'm not sure what kind of colour, but I'm sure there will be lots of good ideas for it. And it doesn't necessarily have to be a potion either, I would like to see another colour that's obtained differently. Maybe an item that you have to do something with or give to an NPC or something. Could include some interesting lore as well (I just really want more lore, alright?).

I love the Angelic pets and I hope to see more, so many species who don’t have the color yet would look amazing in it!

Thank you. I would appreciate the push to get some angelic pets out throughout the year, so there isn't a literal two year gap between new angels!

I support this so much. I have been waiting for years for an Angelic Tigrean and keep getting my hopes up that maybe this year will be the year for it to be released. I appreciate the time it takes to draw them but I just really want an angelic tigrean so I can do my kitty tributes <3

I support & statements. A lot of older pets that should have colours, especially older colours like Angelic are still missing. I'd just like to see some of them get some love.

tbh people will get grumpy over anything. :P I'm no exception, but yeah. Considering the ratio of amazing sP colours vs the CSC colours (only angelic & blacklight - even Essence of Melody got moved to the Millionaire Center!), I think it's fair that the cash shop gets another special pet colour or two, if the community is interested in paying for that kind of thing.

Might have to embrace the stupid and run with it.

I'd love to see more Angelic pets--it's one of my favorite colors. Since it's one of the oldest colors, so I'm a little surprised at the number of (specifically older) species that don't already have the option.

A bit off topic, but if we're releasing a new CSC colour I think that an existing one should get finished..idk. I don't think people would get mad, we have so many non-RL money ways of getting CSC nowadays.

If you’re willing, could you pass on to the Yaherra artist that it would be AMAZING if the angelic one could have the same kind of “better-than-you” attitude that the Legeica one has? c: The angelic Legeica is absolutely my favorite and tbh I’m straight up craving more angelic pets that look like they think they’re better than me. Snobby angels are the best imo ❤️

I agree that we should have old csc colors finished first before newer ones get added, for completion's sake.
