Polls! Moar polls!

I love the silly things in addition to the more serious topics. Acknowledging that any popular result in the polls does not tie staff down to fulfilling/following/bending, what topics would you like to see in future polls?

For example, If we have another quest-a-thon, I would love to be able to vote on what prizes we get!

How many CWs do you own is something I'd totally like to see.

A range from like 0 - 9, 10 - 20, etc

Yes please! They are silly, helpful, random, and take only a few seconds to take part in.... Moooooorrrrreee!

Some suggestion questions:

1. How long have you been a member
2. How many hours a day do you spend on Subeta
3. Do you spend real money on the site
4. What features would you like to see
5. Which NPC would you like a chance to battle against
6. Plot themes
7. How many pets do you have
8. Which additional prize(s) would you like to see for a Quest-a-thon

Brain is in a weird place right now, but I would like more polls. Serious, actual polls and not only silly ones (those are fun too though!). The only issue I can see here is that people will understandably get disappointed if things don't happen Soon[sup]TM[/sup] (see also: teahouse, centropolis lower west side map, garden revamp).

Slightly offtopic, but I did like having the possibility to have a say in things that could happen next! Personally, I don't mind spoilers, I can still love a feature even though it's been spoiled for me. So the old pay-to-"fund"-this style "polls" made me happy, if mainly for the reason that there was a sneak peek of what's going to be on the table next! It gave a tiny little glimpse into planned features & new stuff and it let us choose the potential course of things. It let users take part in making the decisions instead of us just being passive hangry baby birds, chirping in the chorus of "NEW THING WHEN PLS".

As a result of that, I'd really prefer polls that actually help show what users want vs. polls for the sake of having them. :') For poll suggestions, I only have two:

1. Should we revamp old monthly collection items? Y/N You want more sales? 👌 Give people a reason to buy the old stuff too. "Revamp usssssss..."

2. Which do you like better: Delish or costume trunks? Delish is nice and pretty and good. But frankly, it's not that great for TCs. Which blows when Subeta's trying to make everything multi-purpose. Costume trunks enable us to buy items by piece now, which makes it much easier for those needing multiples while also not devaluing everything else.

...anyway, I could see throwing a poll up for a smallish summer event or something. Like, should we do another Quest-a-Thon or bring the gellies back? (throwing those out as examples because I think they're usually the go-tos for summer? and neither really requires a lot of extra work like a plot would)

Hmm, maybe those interesting bits of data could be added to the About Subeta page? That page already branches out to many others listing various statistics and interesting bits'n'bobs.

I would love to see more polls. even if they are just random, I still think they're fun!!! Though helpful ones can be fun too.

I like the one from about which NPCs we could get as battle challengers, that might give the staff more ideas on who we'd like to see as friendly challengers, and while my pet doesn't stand a chance against most of them, I do like the idea of being able to fight with them, but in a friendly, non-malicious way. Sparring, as they call it. I think that's the right word.

I would also like to see a part 2 of the "Which NPC has the best hair" question, including some NPCs that were missed out before that I would have liked to have voted for because of their hair.

I'd also maybe like a "Which NPC would you like to know more about" since I think that the subetapedia entries we have are a bit outdated, and the poll could help the staff to decide which entries to update first. And also which other characters to add to it. I just really want more lore.

There could be one about what we'd like to see more in plots. While last year's plot was good in terms of story, I saw some people say they thought that the puzzles weren't well integrated into it, except for maybe the Choose Your Own Adventure bit near the end. Though I can understand if it was rushed, and it was the first event plot we'd had for a few years, the others being during summer when less was going on and there was most likely more time to plan. Maybe the poll could be about if people prefer event plots or summer plots.

I'm going too far into these changes now. As for some random polls, we could have favourite pet colours, favourite experiments, favourite site events, which one-off events from the past people enjoyed (Which could also open the possibility of bringing them back), which food items you wish you could eat, which food items you've made or would like to make, which clothing items you wish were real...I'm running out of ideas now, but maybe this will inspire more ideas from people.
