What does anyone of this lot need with all those Ks anyway? Ya'll just make a lot of K words. I bet ya think its money. But it's really actual letters. 100 crisp Ks freshly baked." He gave a little snort at his joke that he hoped would convince people to leave.

I'm going to first up say I'm really dense with puzzles, and so this is probably a very obvious answer. BUT on the current puzzle...do the two letters need to be the same for every word? Or...just ad two letters in the exact middle to create a new word, but various letters not the same onese?

They do NOT need to be the same. In fact, I can't see any combo that would work. They do have to fit in the exact middle though.

My slow brain figured that there couldn't possibly two that worked in all cases, but I always am on my toes that if it's WS or Nutsy it'll be challenging and overthink things sometimes. hehe! :) Thanks!

Oh, not at all! Everyone overthinks them, and Nutsy is hard because of the central mystery.
