I don't know if what i'll suggest is a bug or if it really belongs here :(

I noticed there are several frozen users featured in the high score tables - I understand they worked hard to get there and they need to be awarded/recognized somehow. Yet they are frozen, and some of them are also inactive - as in we can change our user names to theirs. I think these accounts -BOTH the frozen and the inactive ones - should be removed from the high scores tables.

On the Gourmand high score table, a pet/user appears twice - this could be a bug. We can agree once is enough though. ;) thank you for reading.

I am not in support of removing frozen or inactive players from the list. Also, there is no distinguishing at least from a non-staff side as for whether or not those were self-freezes. People can self-freeze and return. Those pets are still technically in existence and they ate that many food items. Inactive accounts can become active again as you can see on the welcome boards of people returning back to site.

In terms of what you said in regards to the same pet/user? I don't see that. I see the same user but with different pets. And yes they should 100% be recognized for having multiple pets on the high score list. The score table is based on the pet, not the user. They should get props where props are earned. It just means double/triple/whatever the patience to work on multiple pets with the same goal in mind. Shouldn't penalize them.

( /154 checking in - two of us appear twice, actually! /248 is the other dupe 8) but i believe the foods fed high score page was reported for other problems (namely... a certain pet being listed as having eaten more food than is actually possible LMAO), so i figured it was overkill to report it for that when the pages are already being looked at.)

anyway, i don't see a point in removing frozen/inactive users from the high score tables for foods/books. these change as more items are added/used -- two of the users i spotted as frozen/inactive have less than 7000 foods eaten, which means they'll eventually get booted off the list if/when more people start working on the achievement.

Ahh yes ok now I see it. Thanks for pointing it out. I just quick glance saw one person but the pets were different and so I was like ok. Also 100% yes on the books/food error. I currently am but should be . I am assuming something happened to create accidental dupes because it is over the total number of items on site.

Also Subeta does prevent usernames of users that have passed from being taken. Yeah the account is totally inactive because the user died, but it can't be taken. Like for some users, working on collections was a major hobby. It wouldn't be fair to remove them from the list.

I didn't refer to the user with 2 different pets - those 2 pets each need recognition, indeed. ;) it's why i started feeding a 2nd pet. I wasn't referring to the users that died because i forgot their pets could also be featured. i strictly referred to those whose usernames are up for grabs.

I was more thinking that the frozen/inactive accounts to be removed, and when their owners decide to return, they can rejoin/reappear in the table. if this is not possible, from a programming point of view, that's different ;) In any case, your explanation does make sense, and i may be wrong in suggesting this.

Jensen pointed it out to be the repeats. I did a very quick scroll by and that one instance is what stuck out for me. So you know Bug posted a fix was coming for the count which might remove those duplicates but it doesn't address your suggestion. I only brought up the deceased users because it is another type of "inactive"
