Hey all! I'm getting my frost custom overlays ready to submit and I. reading g the rules up and down and I think I may have come to a snag?

Basically the overlay I want to upload is this, which is an edit of a sweetheart lain

I've seen people do very similar all over, but when reading the rules it says "Don't simply adjust the hue/saturation/colour of official artwork - this distorts quality/lines."

So would this be an acceptable overlay? Or does it break art guidelines?

I don't think anybody knows for sure? Probably better to file a Ticket in Help.

that overlay is ok because its not a simple and quick edit; the rule refers to simply changing the color/hue/saturation with a basic filter which results in a low-quality image

I just made this with a simple editor and it wouldn't be accepted:

As an aside, your CSC gets refunded if the overlay gets denied, so there's no harm in just submitting it to find out (other than the potential wait)

You've probably already gotten your answer, but I asked the same question about my Animal Kingdom overlay and it was approved no problem. Colorizing it by hand is usually fine, it's when someone just slides a hue or saturation slider that botches the quality that gets rejected. [Pet=animal kingdom]
