Well I choose red some days ago - but my avatar is still normal.

The Voluntary Infection Program says: Thanks for your interest in becoming an Infection Specialist! Unfortunately, your strain hasn't progressed far enough for your bite to be effective, but try again later!

But when I go to the healer it says: I could feel you coming, this is a strange virus. Below is a view of what you look like at the moment.. And I see this picture:

I read there where some problems with the infections this year but I'm not sure how to solve it...

There are definitely issues with the HA cache happening, so people aren't seeing updates or changes. Sometimes re-saving your HA in the wardrobe (just click the Wear Now button) helps though I've seen people say it took several tries before it worked. Clearing your browser's cache or history should also work.

For what it is worth, you are showing up as a Stage 5 Red for me, so I am pretty sure you are progressing normally. You should be able to bite later today once it has progressed to Stage 6 and your skin should unlock tomorrow afternoon/evening or early Friday.
