How do I stop people from biting me? I didn’t sign up to be infected but yet it happened. How do I prevent this and how do I get rid of the infection?

If you go to the VIP page, there should be an option to remove your infection if you have one. I don't think you're infected though, unless your HA hasn't updated. Looks like you just have a bunch of kiss marks

I am not even seeing the kiss or bite buttons on Chrome browser anymore. I need a bite, lol

I think there is a bit of confusion in the code of the labels. People who get infected via biting suddenly say "no biting" instead of "infected". (It was confirmed that they ARE infected. just show the wrong "label") So I guess people who have "infected" are really not infected. Forgot to say: if you don't sign up, you can't get infected, don't worry :)

Here on Subeta there have been zombie apocolypses in which users had no control over whether or not they were infected. I'd worry. Notice that the user who is telling you not to worry is a ravening carnivore.

My seriously random "Infected" status went to "No Biting". I did not choose to do VIP at all and it doesn't show me an "undo" button when I go there. I think that either there's a glitch, or some site event will be happening.

No Biting should be default, there's nothing to do to get that status. Yes, you used to have to choose to not get bitten, but it's been years since it's been that way.

The report I made in Problems & Bugs said that it was fixed, so the thing the OP is talking about turned out to be a bug.

There is no way to get it, because it's the default. You need to actively sign up to be "biteable". Have you been to the Healer, what does it say? If you are infected, it should say "Oh No! I could feel you coming, this is a strange virus. Below is a view of what you look like at the moment.." and show your HA.
