GO RED WEEK

On National Wear Red Day, held every year on Feb. 3, people all over the country will be wearing red to help raise awareness of women’s heart health. Stress can trigger some of the risk factors for heart disease for women and men alike. Taking a few moments out of your day to decompress, meditate or just do a few yoga poses can significantly lower your blood pressure and set you on a healthier path.

1. relaxing for me means either books, reading and wirting or music (mainly saxophone and singing) singing 10 minutes each day makes you a lot happier and reduces stress

Valiska Courinna is taking a walk on the beach in the morning to clear her mind for the day. Maybe she'll even do some yoga if her friends will let her, but pets are relaxing as well for people with stressful lives!

I spend a lot of time in the kitchen cooking so my family and myself can eat healthy. I usually have 1 or 2 dogs in the kitchen (looking for dropped scraps) until my hubs comes in and tells them to "go out" :-D Outfit Not Found

We've all heard of 'goat yoga' but personally I think that sound potentially painful. I don't really want a goat standing on my back while I'm doing downward facing dog or cat and camel, but I like the idea of including animals. So how about cat yoga? I wouldn't mind a cat on my back while I struck a pose or rubbing against my legs and petting animals is suppose to help reduce stress and blood pressure.
