I was in my inventory, adding items to various collections and galleries and shops and such, and I realized that when I click on the item, and it brings you to that menu page, it is super straining on my eyes to read the item name. So I decided to check out the other themes to see which other ones have this problem. I have noticed it with the following:
Default (Welcome to Subeta) Riverside Valley (not as bad as others, but still slightly a pain) Delphi Beach (this is the one I typically use) Shadowglen masquerade Darkside
So really, the only two that I didn't have this problem with is Arctic Frost, and the hidden Morostide.
The issue is the cell color is fairly dark, and the text is also dark. The easiest way to fix this would be to make the cell a lighter color, or make the text a lighter color. Morostide and Arctic Frost don't have this problem because the cell color is fairly light on both of them.
Anyone else find this more straining to read than necessary?
I see what you're talking about, and I agree that the colors could definitely be improved. There are some other areas that could use some color adjustment, too. For example, I can't use the Darkside layout because the high contrast hurts my eyes (bright yellows and oranges contrasted against dark purples and reds), and I don't use the unlockable Autumn layout because the colors are too saturated. All the layouts are very pretty, but some of the color schemes don't really work well for a UI that you're going to be dealing with constantly.
I'm curious how many people use each layout. It would be interesting to look at those numbers and see if there are any patterns. :P

This would be nice for those days when my eyes just decide the contrast isn't strong enough. Fortunately today it isn't a problem, but I know there's been plenty of times when this is the case.
I'm currently using the darkside layout because overall the colors are dark enough that they don't hurt my stupid sensitive eyes. During the summer I use the Riverside one, it feels... seasonally appropriate idk.
