I'm trying my darnedest to finish [pet not found]'s profile, but I'm unsure about it visually. Her story isn't finished, but enough is there for you to get the gist of her situation - basically she's a Drifloon who performs in her father's circus troupe. Singing is her forte.

Her profile design originally went with a different pet who was going to be a shooting star that granted wishes. I dropped that character but loved the profile so much, I transferred it to Floon. Since my OC's name is Celeste, i thought it fit, but now... 1.) I'm afraid it looks too busy, and 2.) despite her name and her being the "star of the show," the background image doesn't feel relevant to her, much as I adore it. Should I change the background image? If so, any ideas about what I should do instead? ^X^;

I'd also love some ideas of more things for her treasure!

I don't think the profile looks too busy necessarily but perhaps reusing the bg colours for the story+tc box colours might help make it more cohesive! (I know it's to match the galactic, but the background is very desaturated in comparison so making the other colours a teensy bit more desaturated would help a little.) Moving the name+colour+minion info into one of the darker patches (e.g. the lower left corner) would also make it a bit more readable, lessening a busy feel! And having the tc appearing after hovering/a click could be an additional solution but it's fine where it is! Imo the bg definitely feels circus related (or at the very least performance related) but if you did wanna change the it maybe there are free to use carnival tent/stage curtain images that could work?

@ Balloon Oh wow, that background is beautiful! I see what you mean about it potentially not fitting, but you also clearly love it very much! If you don't have another pet you could transfer it to, I think you should keep it. I think you can make it work. It looks like some art you would see painted on a circus poster, proudly declaring Celeste their very own shooting star. You could also work it into the layout in a different way, like making it part of a poster. Or you could turn the background into a wall of Celeste's dressing room (or something like that) and have that picture be one of the decorations on the wall, perhaps? But that might get a little bit busy unless you wanted stuff to appear as you hovered over it.

As for the layout itself, it doesn't seem too busy. The only issue I personally see is the text outside your story, since it kind of bleeds into the background and becomes hard to read. The navy starred background on your story/treasure is subtle enough that it doesn't look cluttered either; it drew my eye where it needed to be. EDIT: makes a really good point about desaturating the blue a bit, though.

Oh it looks like the navy starred background isn't showing up for me, so definitely go by Strengths comment! I think it being Celestes dressing room or a poster would be really cute!

I love the current poster background and your overall concept/story.

I have a few general visual suggestions. The font you have for the main story text is readable, but is a little outside the theme. Maybe you could look into fonts that compliment the font you have for Floon's name (written below the pet picture).

The custom art is very cute. I would add more pink and purple treasure items to compliment the introduction artwork.

I think you should add more music-related minions to the TC. They would make very cute companions and fit with the theme.

Thanks for the vote of confidence for the current background image :D I do love it. I'll tweak the navy/stars part, and also check to be sure it's working properly since Lag can't see it.

I see what you mean about the font; it's a bit plain. I want it to be easy to read, but I'll try to find one on Google Fonts that's prettier.

And for the TC suggestions - Celeste's favorite color is pink, so that will be easy to add :D And I don't know why I didn't consider music-related minions! Lag suggested some too. Also I have two other musician pets, and I never thought of adding minions for them either :P

I just checked in, and it looks really great! The backgrounds on the pet image, info, minion, etc really tie the layout together nicely. c: I'm so glad you decided to keep the background. I hope you put her up for pet spotlight down the road!

(Also, this is off-topic but! I just wanna say while I'm here that it always makes me so happy that you have Drifblim. It's one of my favorite pokemon and there is no more fitting person to have it than a balloon enthusiast!)

I agree with Strength, it's looking great! It definitely all ties in to background now with the changes you made!
