Hi guys! I submitted a custom overlay about three days ago, and it hasn't been reviewed yet. I was just wondering if there was an average length of time for approval, I haven't seen anything about it as of now. I only ask because the other overlays I've posted have been approved within a day, so I'm just unsure. :) Thanks for the help!
Its pretty much random as it depends on the availability of the art staff
usually can depend on the staff availability, amount of ones ahead of ya, many things tbh..Id say if ya havent heard anything by end of day maybe file a ticket asking if they can look into it..3 days doe seem kinda long though tbh
Usually mine are approved in 2-3 days. I think the longest I waited was 4.? I'd just be patient, it will probably be soon if it's day 3, but if you're worried you could always file a ticket :)
Thanks for the input guys! I totally understand, life is crazy and I don't want to bug the awesome staff here. :)
my first and only custom overlay took a couple of weeks to approve so idk, it can take a while but they'll get to it eventually.
It was approved moments after my final response. :D Thank you guys! Noktis looks a lot more like herself now.
I think mine took closer to a week.
Maybe they should post a timeline on the overlay page so people have an idea of how long they should wait before they submit a ticket..?
Mine were around 2-7 days I think. Normally on the shorter end.
It depends on when staff decides to look at it tbh - which isn't as often as it should be imo... It can vary from a few days to week (+ apparently, a couple of weeks is ridic)
from what I know, sometimes the approval can take some time as the person who approves custom pet overlays sometimes need to collaborate/get internal feedback on overlays that may be pushing the rules a bit. I waited a few days for 666's overlay, i think he made the staff a bit unsure!
I want to laugh at the absurdity of all of the responses in here. I submitted my first overlay a few days ago, and have since been on pins and needles. It's totally fair that approval is dependent on artist availability. But like, don't they have internal metrics and goals? Between my friends and this board, I've seen the following:
[edit] 3 days exactly!
