Has any clever person worked out an estimate for how often we get quest points? for example, do we get maybe 1 point for every 5 quests or is it completely random?
I have gotten terribly bored of doing quests, especially for the seasonal stuff.

I can assure you its 1 for every 5. They used to be random so some people got them often while others would get 5 or less in a day for the same number of completed quests. So they fixed it to be this way instead. However it might be nice if weekend quest awarded them for every quest done

More specifically it's one-fifth of a point for each completed quest for each quest grantor. So you do not need to complete all quests in order to get the right amount of quest points, but you do need to do each kind of quest that you can do. It gets saved over from day to day.
