I know there are back end reasons for changing the way shops work, but the new system not allowing right clicking to buy is the biggest pain in the butt. Instead of just right clicking on what I want out of the new items in the Quest shops or the New Years shop as I scroll down and then closing the new tabs when done, I have to left click, click to go back, then scroll down to find where I previously was.

I'm not saying it has to be this way again, but the Cash Shop temporarily had this issue and now we have the Cart. Could we please get carts for these other shops too?

Thank you, and now I'm off to get really annoyed buying a bunch of things in the New Years shop.

Edit: Okay, clicking on the browser back arrow instead of the Back button makes things not as bad (with the Back button you have to choose the year again as well), but a cart would still be nice please.

I guess carts could be convenient for mass purchases - have no particular opinion on that. But ctrl + left click does what you're describing in terms of opening the new page in a tab. ?___?

I also use a desk computer, so ctrl+leftclick is also possible for me. Are two-key combos, this is something a mobile user could do? If not, then having carts could be an excellent workaround.

i miss being able to right click to buy things... a cart system would be nice. that said, command-click/right click not working is a browser-specific problem ;o;

This isn&;t really something we can control on our end; it&;s up to the browser to correctly give you that functionality. (That&;s why it works in Chrome, for instance.)

However, if it&;s broken, then it must have gotten broken in a newer version of Safari, because some googling shows that Cmd-clicking should work. If it doesn&;t work, I suggest googling around and seeing if it&;s maybe a setting you have to toggle in Safari?

Fwiw, you would search for something like "submit forms in new tabs" - a key part of what I changed, was changing the buy link into a form submission, so that you couldn&;t accidentally do it twice. Part of the dangers of having it be a plain link, is that the browser will think it&;s safe to visit it multiple times, which is probably what caused your double-buying problem.
apparently there's a likely a way to fix it for safari, but my google-fu is not good enough. i should probably just switch browsers but i don't wanna migrate my bookmarks and passwords, wah

Maybe it's my browser (Firefox Quantum) but Ctrl-Left Click does't open in a new tab for me when clicking Buy.

I did that and got a bunch of "Oh looks like you refreshed!" messages and thats really irritating. I have no idea what I missed and can't be bothered to find out.

I had to install an extension to get it to work in Firefox, but ctrl+click still doesn't work iirc. I have to middle click (and then I do often get error pages, but the item still buys)

It's extremely frustrating, whether it's something that can be easily/directly changed or not, and I would really appreciate a cart system as a workaround

Neither right click nor ctrl+left click is working. And I won't believe it's problem with my browser cause right click works everywhere - on different sites as well as on subeta itself, EXCEPT the damn shops.

This change really dropped my motivation in buying from the special shops. I hate having to reload the main shop page after every time I buy something (I don't always have my keyboard nearby). Never thought something could annoy me as much as when I forget middle clicking with my mouse no longer works.

Forget buying in new tabs on mobile. I gave up when I tried to buy a snowball. I don't have the time to reload the main shop page over and over.

I know this was put in because a few were having problems with double buying. I never did so I would love a way to override this on my end. I'm not that tech savvy so I have no idea if it's possible.

The Buy buttons will not be changed back into regular links, for the reasons I explained in the other post. The way they currently work is they're basically form submissions, so if the usual right-clicking/ctrl-clicking/etc does not work for you, you can try looking up "submit form in new tab" to find a way to do it on your browser.

I will work on making it possible to refresh to buy another one of the same item :)

A cart system could also be a viable way to resolve the issue of needing to buy multiple items from the same shop. If we want all special shops to have carts, it would come with some limitations (like a generous limit on the number of items in the cart, and perhaps auto-expiring the cart after 2 weeks or so) - but overall it could make things a lot more convenient. How would that sound as a compromise?

[edit] (massively ninja-ed by }

Some special shops have a time-delay. I'm not sure why most of them do since they have an unlimited supply. Would this be a problem?

I often get "oopsy"-like messages in all my new Tabs, but it buys the item anyways, so I ignore them and keep on buying. Have you looked to see if you got the things?
