Same person from last time, lol (guess I just like reading flavor text and item descriptions). The items below (all fairly old) have references to "both" or "opposite" genders, which excludes nonbinary people. In addition, the wording in the Grasshopper description excludes non-heterosexual people, and the Cyan Uncomfortably Short Shorts equates genitals to gender (excluding transgender individuals).

Not as much of an issue, but about this plushie; [item2=Collectible Quentin Plushie]
I understand it's a turn of phrase, but nonbinary individuals, such as myself, often get called a "thing" rather than a person. In any other sentence I wouldn't bat an eye, but when it's used directly after referring to Quentin as genderless, it's... disquieting.
This isn't urgent, end of the world stuff, but it's jarring to see these outdated phrases when subeta is such an inclusive, safe site.
I agree the item descriptions need updating. The Collectable Quentin Plushie could be "this plushie is genderless just like the real Quentin.
Seems like most of these would be easy(?) to fix too. Just change instances of "both genders" to "any gender" and "members of the opposite sex" to "plenty of attractive people".
Not sure what could be done with the short shorts description. Maybe "Cameltoe, it's for everyone with these babies!"
[flower=RedSekhmet]
Could just remove gender from the cyan shorts.
What is the opposite of cameltoe? Cameltail?
Nothing about who has what.
bird and bear and hare and fish give my love her fondest wish
Or instead of saying both genders, how about using everyone? Like "This tank looks good on everyone!"
[Dance=Kiarda] [Tot=Kiarda]
I'm gonna be bold for a moment and it's going to come across rude but:
They/them. Gender neutral since forever. Grammatically correct.
And that plush is a nightmare, lmao.

I think the descriptions should just be changed to "everyone". Something like 'Hey, this looks good on everyone!' Or sticking to the gender neutral terms they/them works as well.
EDIT: Wait I just had a thought.... Could it be that the old items say that they look good on both genders because back then some items only suited male or female HA bases? Like there'd be a breast bump in the shirt for female avatars or were all items gender neutral back then too? Someone let me know please~
EDIT2: Apparently there did used to be items like that. Either way, it seems horribly dated to still use those descriptions as most items are in fact neutral now. Kind of weird that these were overlooked imo...
