While adding a really expensive wearable to my wardrobe today I noticed it was also a toy, so my first thought was "why play with something so expensive if there is no advantage to it?" and made me notice that we don't have a "pet's played with" toy collection - any reason for that?

only that it hasn't been implemented. It's been Suggested a few times in Suggestions & Ideas. Staff was resistant to the idea at first but has warmed up to the idea since petstats and other dropdowns on the pet page were revamped.

My guess: adding another set of petnames with "play with" in front of it in addition to "use on", "feed to", and "read to" makes the item box get super duper long, so it's waiting on the item box revamp which went on hiatus.

also at the time staff decided they might want to do it, most of the plushies and beanbags were labeled as toys. They wanted to change that before making a toy collection since plushies and beanbags already have collections and it would be too much to expect to put them in a toy collection as well.

I'm pretty sure by now they've all been fixed, but the toy collection was probably left on the back burner because either they never got around to changing it, or other stuff came up.

to be perfectly honest, i thought this was a suggestion about an actual collection, which i'd really like! something like the minion zoo, maybe? and anything labeled a pet toy can be added or taken out.
