CHances are it was a snowball you were hit with. They don't really last long. :)

Some folks are having troubles with their snowballs not melting after hours (they should be long gone). If it's been past an hour and the snowball's effect is not gone, you may have to save over your HA in order to get rid of the snowball's effect. It is allowed (and it works) to save the exact same HA over your existing one.
