Ah man, that sucks so bad. I'm sorry. :/ I had chicken pox when I was little, but I did have Shingles when I was 17. Pretty young for getting them, lol, and it sucked so freaking bad. Since you have the chicken pox, you should get the Shingles vaccine afterword since chicken pox can come back as Shingles and it is so painful and can leave permanent nerve damage. I got it on my tailbone and a small bit of my tailbone area is numb now. (I'm 27 now lol) I am just glad I didn't get it on my face, since it can blind people that way.

Sorry for the long reply, lol, just wanted to make sure less people have to deal with Shingles since it's awful. xD

I wish i had it when i was a kid. As my husband and i had so much planned. Now I'm confined to the home until all spots are scabs. My pox is virtually all over my face. I have no confidence at the best of the time. Now i have nothing. I have has to ask the husband to move all the mirrors as i just cry when i walk past. I know its only temporary however doesn't help now.

Ouch Singles. That sounds nasty. I shall see if i can get the vaccine.. Don't apologise for the lengthly reply :)

I'm so sorry to hear that! Chicken Pox sucks at any age. The best advice beyond calamine lotion is, do not, do not pick or scratch the ones on your face. I know it's got to be hard and reflexive (i have allergies and i rub my eyes even when I know it'll make it worse) and i'm sure you've been told that umpteen million times already, but I have a smattering of pox scars on my ribs because I didn't listen to my parents when I was a kid and I just had to scratch XD...this was a testament to both the crazy itch and the stubborn nature I possess, I'm afraid. I have always been obscenely thankful that I scratched them there and not on my face/arms/legs.

While it wasn't with chicken pox, I did have an allergic reaction to an antibiotic and I ended up with these terrible looking pink/red splotches all over (mostly on my face/neck/chest and arms. Pretty much anywhere visible was where they thought it was a perfect place to manifest). So I looked like some kind of leper/leopard hybrid and it was awful until it healed. I wish for you a very speedy recovery!

To be honest the itching hasn't been that bad. Apart from the top of my arm. Most of my spots seem to be on my face and neck and chest. They haven't really spread to my arms and legs. Not that i dont have them on there its only like a couple.

I'm hoping to go sale shopping on Boxing Day as its the start of the Christmas Sales! So i have to be there. lol. I may need a balaclava to cover my beautiful scabby/spotty face!!
