I've been given a very rare opportunity as a special gift... I'll be able to buy a high-end weapon. I don't want to make a mistake since this will be most likely my one and only chance.

My main battle pet is Poukie https://subeta.net/pets/Poukie

and I want to plan for her future.

She's t9 and I also have a t10 pet (Princess Tara) https://subeta.net/pets/Princess+Tara

I'm thinking a t11 or a t12 weapon would be good for the future but I'm open to any ideas/advice. I've seen various weapons for different tiers in the Millionaire Centre. Are they great or not worth the sp? If they're good, which one would be the best if you could only get 1 and why?

I'm a medium battler, not my only focus on the site but I do take pride in Poukie's achievements :) I'm not aiming to be the top battler out there... my goal is to do well during plot battles and eventually beat the tougher opponents that exist that are currently making Poukie hide under the bed :)

I honestly can't tailor the weapon set for each battle so I would need a general pulverize weapon that does well in most battles.

What do you usually use for your battle and scroll sets?

In general, there are some standard-use items that you can bring to most sets, but your main attackers are almost always going to need to change when you get higher up to account for the (main) attack element(s) of the opponent. You can get a partial work around to that with the Marquise/Eye of Royalty defense mod crystals, if you swap them out as needed, but it still isn't quite on par to fully or mostly blocking.

There's only five T12 weapons, as memory serves, and to get them is either extremely difficult(Achievements for beating Rouland and Meatslab, the Furious respectively) or outrageously expensive and impossibly hard to find besides(if not both). T11 and even T10 is much more feasible as most decent weapons scale with your tier and are still used late in the game.

As far as the Millionaire Center weapons, the only ones I've ever heard anything good about are The Ether, Ornamented Hook Swords, or Natasha, but I doubt you're looking to spend 400-750 mil right now.

I think what I would suggest based off of SunDragon's progress(which is closest to Poukie's, high strength, okay health/defense, though better speed) would be Paintbrush Blades, Blackmoons War Plate, Core of the Island. The Paintbrush Blades and War Plate already block a lot of smaller icon increments, and when modded you can raise that quite a lot even before the blessings activate, they also provide decent healing. You should have more than enough Int on Poukie by the time you can use the Core, and it provides a very nice heal at that point to compliment the attack/defense and blessing. They're all very cheap as well.

Both Unstable Sample Syringe and Swashbuckle are within the 100 mil range and can also serve as good blocks for magma/ice, and wind, respectively, serving as decent substitutes for Cronus Blade and Blessed Trident of the Banished One.

Another matter is scrolls, but those tend to be pretty expensive too.

The toughest opponents do require some hefty weapons and a more serious investment in battling. It depends on what your goals are and what you really want for your pet. Not everyone wants a capped pet or a pet that can beat every single challenger. You do not need either of these to participate in site events. Having said that, keep in mind that you will need to invest more time battling to do a lot of damage to event bosses.

There is no one kill all weapon, it’s highly dependent on your opponent and their weapon set. In general, the most common icons an enemy does I would say are dark, fire and earth with water or physical a close 4th. For battle quests - dark, water, fire and earth are most common.

Dark is the most sought after icon to block and very expensive to buy because they’re really is only one buyable, good dark blocker. You can technically win it, but it takes a lot of dedication.

I would say Natasha or the ornamented hook swords are worth the most bang for your buck. The ether is not a bad weapon but physical is not a critical block.

What is your current weapon and scroll set? Upgrading one weapon will help but unfortunately may not be enough to tip the scales if the rest of your set is very weak.

If this is an opportunity to get a Natasha that isn't taking advantage of whoever is giving you this gift, it's well worth jumping on that opportunity.

There might be some difference if you want to do well during boss battles for your tier versus wanting to win against bigger site event challengers. For the former, any weapon that has a combination of the following is ideal:

• high damage output (we're looking at 40 icons upward)
• 4 mod slots

Curse and/or blessing is a plus, but not mandatory. Mod crystals can take care of that.

Block is mostly not relevant for pets up to low T11, because once their full blocks run out they'll be susceptible to one hit knock out anyway.

However if you want to take on big event challengers I agree with everyone in this thread so far. You might want to cater to your opponents' icons. I'd recommend Natasha from the MC, or Blessed Trident or Swashbuckle. For event challengers I don't remember using Ether and esp. Hooked Swords that much. I still like Ether a lot though, esp. against steal happy opponents.

I'm not focusing a lot on Poukie's speed so items would need to not require speed.

I like freezing and try to chain freeze but I still need to work on my set/scrolls.

Current set: freezer stealer opb my attackers defence but breaks easily backup defence healer

I actually have an however, I do better with the specs since I get stat boosts from them.

I also have that I just stopped using since Bludgeon of Mass Extinction is a little better. which I know are legendaries but not sure if it would be good to combine.

I also have Just got (squishy hug thank you) and have but rarely use oh hey I didn't even realize I had a 2nd (that's what happens when you do things when you're ill)

those are the main highlights. I am going to have to rework my scroll combo soon.

About the gift: I could get a Natasha... but if I do, then I might not be able to get other things. What I'm wondering... is it really worth it? Is there something that can do about the same but costs much less? I'd hate to get it and find out I could have gotten by with something a bit less powerful but much less expensive.

For me, battling is fun; however, I have other interests. Plus, Poukie might have to wait a year before she can use a Natasha. Then again, this would be my most likely only chance to get one. I'd want to kick myself in the behind if I realize later on I should have gotten it

For battle quests, I'm managing to sometimes beat up to and including level 25. I'm hoping one day to reach the famous max 30 quests :D

For plots, I try my best and at one point I know it's not going to work no matter how hard I try (oh I try alright... using potions and muttering for hours). I come to terms with it and pat Poukie on the head and am proud of how much I managed to do. For this kind of philosophy: is it a wise investment to get such an expensive item?

Would it be wiser to get something less expensive (and which would be best?) I could instead get something for the future as well as current.

I'm thinking a and a could be useful right now, although I'd have to figure out the right combo for the allotted slots.

It's a big decision to take & I don't want to regret it.

Generally speaking, you always want to be using weapons that give you a good heal. The Scissorblades you have now look like they don't do any healing, and the Bludgeon is only a 5%. Flayed Lord Breastplate does okay defense but again, the lack of healing is the main issue with it, and same of the Forj shield only worse since it can break on you.

Natasha is definitely the best of the MC weapons you could buy, between the blessing it has, the generated weapons, the icons, and the 100 fire block. I myself have never saved up enough to buy it or to borrow one, so I cannot say from my own experience if it would be the right choice, only what I've heard from other battlers. Personally speaking, then, I would rather build up the rest of the battle set that could be used as I grew than have only one weapon down the road, but see what other battlers have to say.

I think you would definitely be right to pick up a Reviver of the Lion, and if you can get one for a reasonable price, a Rainbow Vortex. The better option would be an Amulet of Neutrality, but you would need to look around for a seller and expect to pay out around 300mil at that.

It's good that you have some Gift of the Forj and Aftershocks already. If you can, I'd really advise looking into Shriek of Despair while they're cheap(31 mil).

On the note of the Legendaries, neither they nor the combos are very good as you advance. By the time you hit high T7/T8+, they've pretty much expended their value for battling. A Sentinel would help with that to some degree but not enough to warrant the price over better attackers.

EDIT: And there you have it. Wesker's points stand up pretty well and you would almost certainly benefit from that upgrade more than much else in the long term.

Natasha was a game changer for me so I would say 100% worth it. Fire is a good block to have. Nothing can do what Natasha offers. The bullets generated can either be used as steal fodder or protect your pet from freezing if your other blessings give out. It also gives you added protection during the blessing. For opponents that “require” the ether because they are steal happy, ive gotten by just fine with Natasha. I’ve been battling for at least 5 years now and I’ve only ever used physical block against one opponent. For that one time I used AU, not even the ether. Natasha can be used for 80% of the BQ challengers.

You could go with the hook swords as it has a steal protection blessing. However, the swords don’t do as much damage, only have 3 mod slots and less heal. It’s still a powerful weapon for half the price.

Don’t buy the vortex. Full block is a luxury, not a necessity. You want something that will protect you all through battle, not just one turn. Natasha is a huge investment upfront, but worth it for high tier battling. It’s also the best option without spending 1bil+ sP.

Your scrolls are pretty good! I would sell divine denizhen and replace it with aftershocks. Triple threat can be sold as well. The energized helmet will provide more useful than the specs against freeze happy opponents since it protects from freezing for 2 turns.

I checked my priority wishlist items and although it used to be fuller over time I was blessed with reducing it and recently became more battle oriented. I like wardrobe items but I'm at peace with what I have. With the battle items, I can use them often as long as Poukie has the correct tier. I think it would be a wise decision to focus primarily on battle upgrades for the special gift :) Plus, the basic condition is that I splurge myself, something that I rarely do. ^^

I don't know that you'd find anyone willing to trade it for less than the cost to simply buy it. There don't appear to be any already up in the trade center, though you might be able to find a seller in the advertising area of the forum?

You may find who either quit battling or only bought it for the MC achievement to sell it to you for cheaper, but those situations are few and far between. It most likely won’t be discounted by much either. It’s probably best to buy it from the MC and then you can at least get one of the MC achievements for it

Haunt the advertising forum. I got lucky with a discount Natasha last year, but I wouldn't count on catching one.

The shriek scrolls would be nice if you can equip a bunch of them to chain freeze, but i think you should focus on upgrading other weapons in your set. is a super cheap T10 option that is good. is a good affordable T10 weapon if you are not sure you are going to invest in any more big purchases like Natasha.
