LUMI TREE and POINSETTIA DAY

December 12 is World Poinsettia Day! That pop of floral color in everyone’s home means the holidays are right around the corner.
Poinsettias, known as Euphorbia Pulcherrima, come in hundreds of beautiful colors, Gold Rush and Christmas Beauty Marble are the latest new colors.

HOW TO POST A TREE WITHOUT GIFTS >>> Go to the tree decorating page, you can enter it via your daily Melody visit. Look above at the left side for the button. Here, you can see the tree without gifts and drag it to your desktop and load it up to a picture hosting website, for example imgur, postimage or similar ones. When you´re in Germany, try perhaps abload.de , easy site and delivers all the coding. (use Direktlink Foren here when you use this one)

Why did I choose this more complicated way? You don´t see the tree trunk when gifts cover it and many players have it decorated, too. (Like me). And I would like to see your tree in all its glory! <3

Well, I choose this peach poinsettia for the first HA because it's so cute. In my country we called this plant "Estrella federal"

I based my poinsettia HA around the deepest red that I've ever seen a poinsettia get. It was actually super important to me that I get this one perfect, because the prestige red poinsettias have been my favorite flower ever since my Papa gave me one for my thirteenth birthday... three months before he died. I'm really happy with how she looks. <3

It keeps saving it as a .png file and I have no other options to save it as something else.

i wanted to do a hostess, since the association of poinsettia --> christmas --> having friends and family over :) so here is a lady welcoming her friends, and dressed in her poinsettia best!

Because it's my favorite color, and I love how the leaves are so dark green they're almost black. Black and hot pink are amaaaazing together!

I really didn't know there's a lot of color and shades of this plant, so beautiful <3. Also, I didn't know it by the name of poinsettia xD. I think I said it before but in my country we called it estrella federal. I had fun with this contest, it was pretty hard, especially the tree part.
