i looked around in the Restocking-Forums and stumbled across a thread about purchases from the "Free Shop". I never heard of it so i googled (the "search subeta" menu point never finds a thing for me...) and found the shop but it says "This shop is closed". So how does this shop work? When is it open?

It's similar to restocking shops, but the wait time is 5 minutes and you don't know what you're "purchasing". Staff normally opens it around New Years for about a week. They make a news post about it, so don't worry. (They did open a few weeks ago very quickly but that was an exception)

yep, they also open it when they feel like being extra nice like after there's been a lot of lag / downtime (it was open for a few days last month because of this).
