J-Rock time! I'm a huge fan of groups such as Hello Sleepwalkers, KANA-BOON, Man With A Mission, Mrs. GREEN APPLE, Unison Square Garden... I tend to go for the more pop-punk types of groups, but I also used to be a huge Visual Kei fan back when I was a teenager hahah. I also love finding out about groups I haven't heard of before - I actually met a group recently called The Sixth Lie who just recently did the ending theme for Golden Kamuy, so that was exciting! Anyone else a J-Rock fan?

I am but I have to confess that I haven't been listening as much as I used to. Girugamesh's break up hit me very hard so I kind of turned away from that kind of music.
I was wanting to slowly start listening again to J-Rock. I'll have to listen to the groups you listed and see what else pops up as recommendations.
I don't really listen to J-Rock anymore, but i will always have a special place in my heart for the GazettE (saw them live ♥), Gackt and 9Goats black out among other throwback jrock. I was so sad when Bou left An Cafe. My lil fangirl heart couldn't deal. I listened to them for a while after but they changed their style a bit and I didn't stick around much.
I'm a longtime fan of japanese hr/hm, it's still the majority of what I listen to! I mostly like the oldster bands like Anthem and Seikima-II, but I slowly pick up on new stuff too. I also went through that awkward v-kei phase as a teen haha uwu;
