I think the only experience I've had that I legit believe was paranormal happened when I was around 10. My uncle had been sick for a few years at this point and he and I were great friends.
My parents sent me to sleep-away camp for a few weeks. One day, at around 2:00pm, I burst into tears while playing with some of my bunk mates. The camp counselors rushed over to see what was wrong, and all I would tell them was that something was wrong with my uncle. I kept repeating this over and over, inconsolable for about an hour and a half, before they finally decided to let me call my mother and see if she should calm me down.
Turns out my uncle had died about an hour prior to the phone call. I still think about that feeling of absolutely knowing something had happened.
I’ve seen shadow people, ghosts (heard and felt them too), had dreams of the dead and cried over things I had a connection to in a past life. Paranormal and supernatural stuff is a normal thing in my life, and I enjoy it. :)
I'm pretty sure my current house is haunted! It was built in 1850 so you know someone had to have died here. I've only been experiencing things like random noises at night, and I'm not even positive it's a ghost, but I mean. It's not harmful to be imaginative!
The most distinct paranormal thing I've ever experienced was Shades (AKA shadow people, but specifically, Shades tend to appear as a forewarning of death or calamity, or other types of reality-altering change). The one I saw lives at my friends' mom's house and has for decades, and their entire family as well as many of their friends - seriously, dozens of people - have seen this specific shade. I saw it when I was 13 right before I moved away and my entire life changed forever. I don't think they mean any harm, they just give warnings. They're very scary though.
As for visions, I'm not 100% sure? But I've had the kind of deja vu you described. Like, before I moved to Colorado I dreamed about it, but I didn't know I would be moving anywhere and forgot about it. A few months later we were apartment hunting in CO and I suddenly recognized the streets, houses, and horizon of the place we were at, and then I remembered the dream really vividly. I tend to have really crazy, detailed, long-winded, very specific dreams that, yeah, I mean, feasibly it could be my wacked out brain tying together memories I don't even know I have. But some of the time my dreams feel real in a way that... Isn't dreamlike, not in the way my usual dreams are. Of course this isn't all of them, and it's not all of the time, but when I have those long, eerily detailed ones, there's just something different about them. There are times when they go on for so long and include such bizarre, specific details, and they go on and on and I can't wake up, and it's like I'm in an alternate reality. I kinda wonder if I'm astral projecting when I get that, but I've never experienced intentional astral projection so it's hard to say, lol.
I've had a few dreams that turned into reality before. One time in Primary school at one point we had a thing where we had a different teacher in the morning, then we would have PE with our actual teacher after, but it would mean missing breaktime and having to have it later after everyone else. Anyway, we would do this every other week, and another class would do this on the week where we didn't. Except one night I had a dream where the next day we would have to do this even though it wasn't out week...guess what happened the next day. It's like my mind was trying to warn me of this change in routine (I'm Autistic so changes to routine are hard for me).
Another one which is more recent, last summer I found out my cousin was pregnant for a third time, and it surprised me because I thought she didn't want any more children after losing her first child halfway through the pregnancy the first time 😢, which meant the second pregnancy was different for her (That baby turned out fine in the end 😌), but anyway, she either changed her mind, or it was unplanned, and my Mum was saying that she hoped it would be a girl because the first 2 were boys. But, like in a lot of stories, usually people expect the baby to be a boy but then turn out to be a girl instead, and I thought of the same thing but the other way around. And also because I still have it in my head that older = more superior and I didn't like the idea of the youngest being a girl, even though her older brother is rather sweet (Just wait until he becomes a teenager). Anyway, I had a dream where this new baby was going to be a boy, and that just made me more convinced, I was so insistent on it, and then my cousin soon announced that it was another boy.
(Sorry about all this boy/girl stuff to those of you who don't conform to assigned genders).
Sometimes I have dreams and then wake up feeling like I've had similar dreams before, but not remembered actually having those dreams. Maybe those dreams helped me remember long-forgotten dreams of the past? I don't know...
I had many deja-vu's, i heard voices calling me -NOT in my head, the most recent happened a few nights back and it whispered in my ear "we need to talk" in a British accent, lol. I was about to fall asleep. I woke wide awake.
The only thing i experienced that could be loosely labeled as paranormal, was before Chester from Linkin Park killed himself. For about 2 maybe 3 weeks before it happened, I had the urge to listen to their music, and i knew something bad would happen to him. RIP. T-T I was pretty shaken when i read the news. I wasn't a big fan, or anything, but i enjoy(ed) their music. :/
I really have to update my blog ObscureJourney and my review site BeingObscure. French speakers can read my reviews here.
oh man, yeah.
i worked in a group home for about three years. a bunch of people have passed on inside that building. there was one woman who i will call sarah who used to have like, some sort of bell she would jingle all the time. i've heard the bell plenty of times on third shift (working eleven at night to nine in the morning). she also used to throw a rubber ball at the house when she would play outside, i've heard that too.
i was actually mistaken for one of the deceased residents once. i was wearing a tie-dye shirt that day, and i stepped outside to have a cigarette. i came back in and my coworker was wicked confused, saying that she just saw me go into the laundry room. i denied it, pointing out to her that she literally just watched me come in through the front door. she then dismissed it, saying she must have seen sarah, who was also known for trying to get into the laundry room all the time (she wasn't allowed in there). also, sarah wore tie-dye almost every day. while this was happening, a second coworker claimed that she suddenly became freezing cold and put on her coat despite the fact that the group home was consistently kept at a warm temperature.
spooky stuff.
Never had any paranormal stuff happen to me per se, but have had some creepy sleep paralysis experiences. First time was a weird fog-like creature touching my head and hearing little kid whispering close to my ear while not being able to move. In the end I try to scream with all my might but nothing comes out of my mouth and then I slowly wake up.

I've seen ghost before at my old house, my great grandmother appeared to me around 3am one morning when I slept on the couch. I also saw my grandmother in very vivid life like dreams the few days after she died. I would wake up and talk with her in my dreams.
I'm kind of sceptical about the paranormal, although not in a way where I discredit other people's experiences--rather, I think that my own experiences can be explained with the way that my brain works.
Also, my mom used to insist I was psychic because I kept seeing things when I was younger, apparently. I don't remember any of that, so I can't attest to it.
I do have fairly intense deja vu, to the extent that it feels like deja vu of deja vu of deja vu? I don't have an explanation for that. My gut instinct is kind of... eerily correct too, although I have anxiety that makes that a little harder to listen to now. Sometimes I dream about things that feel incredibly realistic, about things that haven't happened yet, but they're not really premonitions.
Spent the night in a haunted bed and breakfast once, but I didn't experience anything other than hearing the guy in the next room snoring all night.
I have some sort of spirit or something in my child-hood bedroom. Don't know what it is, but I know it isn't mean. My dog has even growled at it. Sometimes I wake up with the feeling of it standing beside my bed.
I don't know if this counts but I sure as hell freaked me out when it happened....
One day a few years back I was at a friend's place, they gave their room since they preferred their couch, anyway they had an old digital camera that was broken but they had it on their dresser, I had just gotten back to the room when I noticed .... it was on..... but when I checked the power switch said off..
Needless to say I had a slight mental break down that night and could not sleep much at all, I cried pretty hard and I really don't know why? Morning came and I told my friend and she said it could just been the wonky old technology...
To this day I still don't know what the heck happened and maybe I don't want to know?
I've never been particularly receptive to any such phenomena, despite roommates seeing things in the dorm I stayed in. There was apparently a little boy that liked it in the space behind our bunk bed. The most prevalent one was a tall, lanky, shadow-entity with a top hat that would creep down the halls and into the rooms. He creeped out several residents who's accounts were fairly independent of one another. I researched various wards and protection runes and put some above the door to our room, and those seemed to keep him out, according to room mates.
I think there was a little girl with a ball in the other girls dorm.
It used to be an airforce base, supposedly with families in the dorms...
The paranormal is quite interesting to me, despite a lack of personal experiences with it... I want to believe XD
