I haven't seen a single floating or random event (I don't remember which) fairy yet, and it seems as if people are getting them from forum posts instead?

I just wanted confirmation, since there don't seem to be any announcements or anything.

Also, will finding fairies from posting still count towards the Fairy Catcher achievement?

I've had a couple of fairies from forum posts. It's really annoying when I need more forum points. :(

Edit: I just got one for making this post

i can't help with your second question, but i can confirm they're still active as random events 'cause i just got one -- Random Event On your travels you find a Green Snow Fairy to help guide you through the cold! Lucky you ;)

can confirm that fairies are still coming through random events, they're just not particularly common - most years people complain that the RE is too rare.

I got one earlier as a random event, so I'm unsure as to how common they are right now or otherways to find them floating around D: I need more fairies.

Like others above me already said they still appear as random events, although not as common as when you're posting on the forums, it seems.

I've got quite a few of them, maybe around 65% from forum posts and 35% from random events? But that's really more of a guesstimate. :P
