Ouch. If it helps, I don't think they know they're taking advantage of your mistake. Sometimes people do incredibly generous things on the site and they're probably genuinely thanking you.

On the other hand, if you reply to them that the donation was in error and they refuse to return the items, then they are taking advantage.

I wouldn’t be able to track everyone down, honestly (not with work/being holiday season) D: That’s a lot of messages/comments/etc to... lawd knows how many people.

It’s getting to that point of cut my losses and move on. Hopefully others pay it forward somehow.
