Today is Thanksgiving Day in the United States. It is a day to be with family (however one may define that special group of people that love and support each other), and take stock of what one is thankful for. Regardless if you are celebrating today's holiday, or if it's just a normal day for you, I'm sending out a friendly reminder to be mindful of the positives in your life!
This season, I am particularly thankful for my parents, my instructors, and my friends at school who have supported me, validated my struggles, and generally been there to maintain normalcy through what has turned out to be a very turbulent and stressful last few months! ILY
Subeta, what are YOU thankful for?
In my country we don't celebrate thanksgiving, but in these times im thankful with my family..
As I posted on the news earlier, I'm thankful for Jodie Whittaker, Mandip Gill, Bradley Walsh, and Tosin Cole. I love this series so much. I've loved every bit of Doctor Who I've ever watched, but there's something really special about this one.
I'm also thankful for my parents and my cats, Emma and Ben. They're my family, what else can I say.
And I'm thankful for my coworkers, without whom I would definitely not still be at this job. They make the crappy days a lot less crappy, and sometimes, dare I say it...enjoyable.
Thankful for my family & boyfriend. Also thankful for all my pets that I love so much <3
Very thankful for my girlfriend and her very accepting, loving family. Thankful for my pets, especially my cats, Totoro and Calcifer, my turtles, Josie and Frances, and my ball python, Pepper. And my fish, of whom I have too many to list, although Bisley the absolute jerk gets an honorable mention. :P
Thankful for my sister who insists that I am truly Soren, and not my deadname. Thankful to have a family that is mostly functional and mostly loving, because it could be a lot worse.
Thankful for my amazing coworkers and my amazing job, because I don't think I'd have as much fun anywhere else.
Forever thankful for my medication, which keeps severe depression and anxiety at bay. I wouldn't be alive without it.

Thanksgiving is over now, but I'm thankful for my job and my family. They both drive me crazy, but at the end of the day they keep me busy and I know I'd miss them if they were gone!

This year I'm especially thankful for my husband. He works at a prison, and two months ago was assaulted and needed surgery. I'm thankful that he's all right and recovering. <3 Also my coworkers and family who were all so supportive through it. :)
Thankful for my birds and the love we share. Thankful for my current friends, for helping me through a rough year, and for helping me trust people again. Thankful for being able to have a roof over my head and live comfortably. Thankful for being able to pursue my dreams and goals.
and finally, thankful to myself for working hard to become a stronger, happier and more independent person.
My Mom and I do a nightly gratitude where we say everything we’re grateful for during the day, but I’m extremely grateful for my friends and family, along with my therapist for helping me to become more talkative and getting to be back to me again.
