My older sister passed away January 8th, 2017. I’m (hoping) to find a pet created that day so I can make a memorial pet.

My sister was an amazing woman who was taken too soon. She’d been diagnosed with cancer and it took her quickly, less than 3 weeks after her wedding day. My family is still struggling with the aftermath as her death was traumatic to say the least due to errors of medical staff in her old country.

If anyone has a pet with this birthday they’d be willing to let me adopt that would be amazing.

Its not the exact date, but I have a pet that was adopted January 1st, 2017 if you can't find any on that exact date and just want something close. I hope you find the exact date though! I'm sure you'll make a wonderful memorial to her.

I am sure that you do.. I can not imagine what it's like to lose a sibling, much less lose one to cancer so quickly. I am so sorry for your loss. :(

I know that you will be able to create a pet for her... you could message a few of the people that havent done much with the pets that they have that match the IDs.. I think they would understand, it's very unlikely that less than 92 people will come in to this specific area to see your need for a pet that they created on that day.. :(

I wish there was a way to get a staff member to move one of the ones that has the right birthday from one of the inactive profiles.. or even one of the 2 or 3 that I saw belonging to frozen accounts...

yeah, I mean, in normal circumstances it's bad etiquette.. but there's one or two that I would ask, if I were you, since they really haven't done anything with the pet since they made it... /shrug but I understand the hesitation, for sure.

would you mind smailing me who you think I should ask? I'm gonna try and go through them again tomorrow but I'm honestly expecting tomorrow to be a disaster since it would've been her 36th birthday tomorrow and I'm already ready to just climb in bed and not leave XD

Ack, what an endearing reason to want a specific pet birthday. Sadly I don't have any IDs that high in range, but I am keeping an eye on the pound for you.

Also, most importantly, I want to say don't give up on getting the ID. Even if you have to make a pet with a different year for now, keep up hope that you'll find a birthday at some point. I managed to find an ID in the pound with my dogs exact birthday, from 2006 no less! If that's possible, anything is.

Yes! An amazing person was able to do a switch with me and gave me their pet with the birthday and I changed the name right away so they could have their name back! I’m so happy and excited to start working on her profile!
