Ok, so at the time I'm posting this, I have 20,304,123 sP in my vault. That's enough to afford an item from 3 out of 4 items on my wishlist. However, said items are very close to my sP amount rn (19m, 17m, and 7m, with the item I can't afford being 20m plus a few hundred.) I'm tempted to snag one, but I don't want to be in the gutter sP-wise again. Should I wait until I earn more sP (be it through shop sales or other means) to get something from my wishlist? Or should I blow almost all my current sP on one item and save up again? I only ask because I'm impulsive as all heck and need to know which option is better in the long run.

i wouldn't say there's an objectively "better" option. you can get a few mil doing quests each day; so whether you buy one thing now and save up for another, or wait until you've saved enough for everything, it wouldn't make that much of a difference i don't think. it's not like you'll ever really "need" to have a certain amount of sP on hand at a given time (except maybe having enough to do saggi's quests if that's something you care about).

so... pretty much, whatever will make you happier at this time! if you really want to buy a particular thing, i'd say go for it.

Are you more likely to work harder, do more quests if you have no/little sP? Or will you get discouraged at how little sP you have and slack off?

It really depends on your feelings, the way you work best and what motivates you.

if you're poor, you can do Sarah's quests. They give you tons of rewards compared to other quests. Splurge!

Since you're largely after potions do wizard quests. Save the tokens you get until there's a shop stock! Usually a potion is stocked every other time it seems. Also you'll get sp for finishing them.
