What are the Rules 4 Minion Overlays?

Hi wanted to recolour a minion so besides recolouring it what is the process for adding it to the site? Is there an application process as with pet overlays if so where do I find them if not what are the codes and where do they go to apply my newly adorned minion, and please, be VERY specific when answering that last bit of my puzzle as I'm a total dumb ass when it comes to this stuff. By the way I did look all around the forums before posting this so if you know where the info is please don't yell at me just point me in the right direction as I've obviously overlooked it.
there are no 'official' minion overlays, you just have to upload your edited image to a site like imgur and add it to the profile with code.

background: url(IMAGE URL) left top no-repeat}
as far as rules go, i imagine it's just "don't intentionally misrepresent what minion your pet has" and "nothing offensive or explicit or that otherwise violates the site's PG-13 rating."

Now Frenchi about that code, where abouts does it go as in what profile, my page profile, my pet profile? Sorry did say I'm completely lost when it comes to this stuff and I'm easily confused on a good day as is.

Thank you so much again, will go and see if I can work something out, I REALLY am a total dumb ass when it comes to understanding this stuff, why do you think I don't own a smartphone, like I need something with more intelligence than me! Go the over 40's without a technological clue :D
EDIT Nope still have no idea where to put the code, never mind I'm getting pet profile pages created so it can wait till then that way I'll keep what's left of my sanity lol
on the pets page, click the little down arrow in the top right corner of the pet whose profile you want to edit, then click "edit description" (the first option on the list). you'll get to the page where you can edit your pet's description, and you'll put the code i gave you in the text box on that page. it needs to go between style tags, so it would look like this:

</style> if you're getting custom profiles made, the coder will already put it all between style tags, so you can just paste the img stuff anywhere within the code they give you. so for instance:

(lots of code stuff to make your pet's profile look cool)
(oh this part edits the pet minion section so this seems like a logical place to add the next bit)
img { width: 64px; height: 0; padding: 0 0 64px 0; background: url(IMAGE URL) left top no-repeat}
